For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Goldhawk for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Goldhawk Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Goldhawk sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi, I’m Ashley— a lifelong dog lover with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all shapes and sizes! I grew up in a dog-loving household and have been a dedicated pet parent to my own sweet cockapoo for the past 8 years.

Since 2018, I’ve been providing dog walking, boarding, and sitting services with a focus on creating a safe, force free, fun, and cozy home-away-from-home for your dog. I understand how tough it can be to leave your pup — that’s why I treat every dog like family. Whether we’re cuddling on the couch, heading to the park, or playing tug-of-war, your dog will be loved, entertained, and cared for as if they were my own.

Why choose me?
•Home full-time (daytime and weekends)
•Rarely gone more than 4 hours at a time and I always monitor pups via webcam if I step out
•Dog-friendly environment in Midtown Toronto with access to several dog parks and walking areas
•Friendly resident cockapoo who loves new playmates
•Flexible scheduling and open communication
•Trusted by regular, returning clients since 2018

Whether your pup loves long walks, cozy naps, or lots of playtime, I’m here to make them feel right at home. I can’t wait to meet your dog!!

Why us
Safety is our #1 priority We don’t off-leash your dogs on the street or anywhere without a fence. We hate to see dogs get missing.
We only take 1-2 dogs at a time.
Every dog deserves to be loved, despite their breeds. We treat them all as our own.
We are a very quiet family, no kids, no crazy barking dogs, no parties or visitors. Great for timid dogs.
We take your dogs out for walks and not just leave them in the backyard/house.
We are attentive and responsive, we listen to your dog’s needs.
**We accept puppies (under 8 months) that are not spayed/neutered, but have to be potty trained.
*Since we live in a very quiet neighborhood, and my dog is sensitive to loud noises, we cannot take dogs that bark excessively/have separation anxiety. Thank you for your understanding.️

I've taken care of dogs of every kind most of my life, and I love all animals. I will be able to walk, feed, play with, bathe, your pets and even administer medication(s) if required. I will treat your pup(s) friend like a family member as if they were my own. There are lovely parks in the area and I also have a car to take them to off leash parks in the area. Over the years I have I also volunteered with various rescue organizations and I have taken care of many dogs for both family and friends.
I have an open home, and accept dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and ages, and don't have a dog in my home at present, (which is ideal for dogs that may require solo care). There are lots of parks in the area and paths we can walk through together, and lots of other pups in the area to play with, (if your pup is good with other dogs).
Pups are allowed on my furniture and I encourage it. I do however, go by your pup's program, schedule and what you wish. They will be walked every 3-4 hours and also they will be fed based on their current schedule. As I am alone in my apartment, I am able to devote all my time on your pup. The longest I would ever be out of my home is 2 hours however, because I am primarily home, that won't be very frequently.
I have a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. I do not have any plants only artificial which are out of reach. I have a very dog friendly apartment. The building is very dog friendly. I also have an elevator in case your pup doesn't like stairs.
I have a balcony which has artificial grass and also I have places for your pup to sit and enjoy a little sunbathing. I will never leave your pup unattended on the balcony.
Before I accept any dog, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet, so make sure we all get along, and so if you think I might be a great fit, please contact me, and let's have a chat!

From Barks to Bonds
What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive personal experience as a pet parent. As a mom of three—two dogs and one cat—I've spent over seven years caring for my furry family members. This hands-on experience has taught me a lot about pet care, including training puppies, understanding the needs of senior pets, and providing a loving and safe environment.
The knowledge and skills I've gained come directly from my daily interactions with my pets, learning and adapting to their unique needs and personalities. This personal connection to animal care drives my commitment to providing the best possible care for any pet I look after.
As I'm currently between jobs, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time, which I love to dedicate to caring for pets. This allows me to be available for pet sitting, walks, and any other needs almost any time, providing attentive and consistent care. Spending time with animals is one of my greatest joys, and I take pride in ensuring they are happy and well-cared-for.
