Hi! I have been an animal lover and pet parent my whole life. I had a German Spitz dog growing up and have taken care of my friend's dogs and dog-sat, from labs to poodles.This is passion than work for me, I love any opportunity to interact with animals, especially dogs. I miss having a pet and found this to be the perfect happy medium. I work from home and hence can give your furry baby all the love and attention it requires throughout the day. They are an essential part of a family and hence should be treated as such, and "not just an animal". Be rest assured they will be well taken care of, be it walking them, pet sitting, grooming and feeding. 
I can send you regular updates, video call as per your requirement, to check in on your pets. I understand it can be stressful for the pet and you , and I am here to help make it easier and enjoyable for you both. 
Daily dog daycare available 9am-3pm, can be discussed further for timing extensions on an exception basis. 

I am unable to work full-time due to a chronic illness and would love nothing more than to fill my days spending time with your beloved pet(s)!&nbsp;

I live alone in a one-bedroom, semi-basement apartment with my cat, Billie. She was recently diagnosed with diabetes, which means I've learned to administer her insulin shots twice daily (and can handle any medical needs your pet might have, too). My backyard is completely fenced in and I am just a quick walk away from Parc Brebeuf &amp; Parc Morissette.IMPORTANT: I will not board unfixed male cats.

Je vis dans une maison propre et bien entretenue. J'ai une cours-arrière semi-clôturée d'un côté de taille très grande au cas où votre animal ne serait pas encore prêt pour "l'extérieur". Je serais heureuse de me promener avec eux (en laisse) ou de les laisser jouer attacher que si vous le souhaitez.&nbsp;
Sinon, il y a un grand parc à environ 1 km de chez moi pour que je puisse les promener et jouer avec eux là-bas. Sinon j'ai une tonne de jouets et un arbre à chats.&nbsp;
Mon quartier est dans une zone résidentielle (vitesse limitée à 30 km/h) avec peu ou pas de circulation en dehors de mes voisins, il y a deux écoles proches.
J'habite dans un sous-sol chez mes parents dans leur maison avec assez d'espace&nbsp;

About MeI was born and raised in Toronto with two family dogs, and today I’m a proud dog parent to a 3‑year‑old German Shepherd–Poodle mix. I’m currently a third‑year student at the University of Ottawa, and dog sitting allows me to support my education while doing something I genuinely love.

Services &amp; Rates
Dog Boarding: $25 per day/night• One dog at a time (unless from the same family)• Adult dogs only (18 months+)• Check‑in/out between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (I am flexible, let me know in advance)• Boarding is based on a 24‑hour cycle; late pickup is $2/hour.&nbsp; For example, If check-in is at 9:00 AM; check-out time is at 9:00 AM (the next day, for one night boarding) at the max.&nbsp;
Dog Daycare:• Up to two dogs at a time
Sleeping Arrangements:• Living room or crate (door open or closed)
Play, Walks &amp; Environment
Your dog will enjoy:
1. A large fenced backyard with plenty of space, trees, shade, and fresh air
2. I keep my fenced backyard clean and the grass trimmed regularly to help reduce ticks, so your dog can play safely and comfortably
3. Walks in Gatineau Park (30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your preference)
4. I will provide constant supervision 
Weather Policy:During rainy days, outdoor time is limited to backyard play for safety. Walks may be shortened to 30 minutes or paused entirely during extreme weather or slippery conditions. Walk everyday including Sunday, weather permitted.&nbsp; I love to walk in nature.
Home Rules &amp; Requirements
• Dogs must be potty‑trained and house‑trained• Vaccinations up to date (especially Rabies)• Tick control recommended during spring &amp; summer• No puppies
For Overnight Boarding:• Please bathe your dog before drop‑off• Provide emergency contacts (family/friends/vet)• Bring food, treats, bowls, toys, bed/blanket, towel, comb, collar, leash, poop bags, and any routine notes
I provide daily updates (minimum twice per day) so you always know how your dog is doing.
Meet &amp; Greet (Required by Pawshake)
For safety and privacy, our first meeting (about 20 minutes) will take place at Gatineau Park (Relais Plein Air, Gatineau) not at a private home.Payment must be completed through Pawshake before I can share my address (for security reasons).

I took dog training courses at the&nbsp; K9 Training Institute, and I apply positive‑reinforcement techniques to ensure your dog feels safe, calm, and understood.

I've had experience as a professional dog walker, vet receptionist, and a vet assistant in both emergency hospitals and general medicine clinics. 
I have worked with over 30 clients since I've started doing independent pet care in 2023. 
My passion is caring for animals and ensuring they are happy, healthy and safe. My goal is to have as smooth of a transition from the pet parent to me. This means keeping up with individual pets schedules and needs and staying in frequent contact with pet parents.
