For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Centretown West for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Centretown West Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Centretown West sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi ! My name is Marina. I just graduated from a bachelor's in communications in Montreal, and I'm currently staying in Ottawa, although I travel to Montreal often.
Since very young, I have always loved animals very dearly.
I have 1 female cat who recently passed away, that my family and I had for about 15 years. We took her in as a pregnant stray, and adopted her and her 5 babies.
I love to petsit, not only because it is something I truly enjoy, but also because I have a good amount of free time and I thought it would be a nice idea to help out pet owners !
For experience, I took care of 2 adult akitas for the past year, walking them as well as occasional petsitting for extended periods of time. I also have recently done a bit of cat petsitting (feeding, playing with them, etc). In the past, I've taken care of my family cat, as well as her 5 kittens on my own, which can be challenging. I have also cared for 2 huskies for a couple of days a few times.
I am constantly around animals in my day to day, when I go back home or through friends, so I feel very comfortable. I am of course always open to learn and personalize the care and routine based on the pet, because I know every animal is very different.
Looking forward to working with you !

Is there a better way to get over an ex than by redirecting your love towards an animal? I think not! Your fur baby will be showered with deep affection and care and spoiled with meandering walks and endless cuddles. I recently lost my dog in a break up and am now seeking new 4-legged friends to spend time with.
I can offer long or short evening (after 6pm) and weekend walks, as well as boarding for luxurious weekend getaways. If you are comfortable having your pet at home solo during the day (with the exception of Thursdays), we can also make that happen.
My low-stimulous apartment is located on the second floor of a heritage building and most suitable to accommodate small to mid-size pets. I also have a car to whisk your pet away to the countryside or out to a forest retreat.
I grew up with three pugs, a cat, hamsters, frogs, a jar of stick bugs, and two brothers which makes me a seasoned caretaker of various types of animals. For the last year, I've been learning how to train a reactive senior rescue dog with successful results. We don't give up on our loved ones, even if they're flawed <3
I have plenty of experience petsitting (dogs and cats) for friends, family, and neighbours, and am accustomed to doing routine walks and feeding.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Bonjour!
Anne Marie

I am a caring, patient, and responsible pet sitter with over 10 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I also have a dog myself, so I truly understand how it feels to leave your pet with someone new. My goal is to make that experience stress-free for both you and your pet.My home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, providing a safe and comfortable environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I follow each pet’s routine carefully, including feeding schedules, rest time, and any special instructions.I love going outside to the park and taking dogs for enjoyable walks. Regular walks and outdoor time are important for their physical and mental well-being, and I make sure they get the exercise and attention they need.During boarding or daycare, pets are always supervised. I introduce new pets slowly and carefully. In case of emergencies, I act quickly and contact the owner right away.Your pet will be treated with genuine care and affection.
