My name is Crystal. I’m a nature and animal lover. I have been a dog owner for 3 fur-babies (Lhasa Apso, Maltese Mix and Pomeranian) over two decades. It was sad to say goodbye to them which were 17yrs, 14yrs and 16yrs, so I have lots of senior dog experience. At this time, I am not ready to have my own pet yet, I would love your little one(s) like my own.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Dogs and Birds
I can accommodate a maximum of two pets at a time for daycare and prefer one pet for boarding. I also prefer smaller breed pet(s) to a maximum of 40 lbs.
I currently have 9 budgies and one green cheek conure.  They are all freindly with dogs.  As such, I can also accept small birds as well for boarding, such as:

Schedule 
I am semi-retired and occasionally work from home. Therefore, I have a very flexible schedule which allows me to easily accommodate various care needs including:&nbsp;&nbsp;

30 mins of short walk or
up to two hours of long walks&nbsp;
and lots of play time
Also allows me to give them attention all day

I prefer daycare Monday to Friday, but I can be flexible to extend to weekends depending on your request.
My Home
I have a fully fenced back deck and they can play and enjoy the sun when there is no rain. Or I can take them out for a walk around my neighbourhood or to a dog park nearby. I can also send you occasional updates and photos/videos during their stay with me to ensure their stay is safe, comfortable and you stay informed.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I live in a detached house with my mom in a quiet neighborhood.  We are non-smoking and have a calm living environment which allows your pet(s) to roam free in:&nbsp;

I share her with my best friend and am left alone Monday and Tuesdays, but I'm happy to watch/walk your pup any day of the week! I welcome dogs up to 30lbs. My dog is vaccinated, spayed and small. Have lots of experience in walking/sitting dogs. Have also fostered dogs in the past when I have had the time to fully look after them. My first foster was a street dog rescued from the streets of Qatar named Malt. I learned a lot from fostering Malt as he was the first dog I had ever looked after which suffered from anxiety from past traumas from living on the streets. Juno ,a 12 week old border collie cross was my most recent foster from a local rescue center in Vancouver. I absolutely adore dogs and have done since a very young age. I joined Pawshake because I very much miss my little jack russell back home and think it's a great way to get to engage with dogs regularly while I'm away from home. I live in a shared house with my girlfriend and 2 roommates, who all love dogs. We have a fully fenced in back garden which ideal in the summer but can get a little boggy in the winter.

As for vaccines, I think it is important for pets to be up to date with their vaccines to make sure they are healthy and do not transmit diseases. Hello everyone! My name is Victoria, I have good experience with both cats and dogs and I would be glad to help if you need someone to keep an eye on your pets while you're away.&nbsp;
I'm good at dealing with cats and know how to make friends with them; they are delicate creatures and I can give them attention as well as respect their privacy if they are more of the "introvert" type. I know it may be stressful for cats to deal with new people and always try my best to make it comfortable for them.
I also have experience with dogs and know it's important to keep their company, respect their needs and be responsive.
I used to have cats almost all my life and also lived with my brother's dog. At the moment I don't have any pets but have plans of getting one (or two, eventually).
I can offer home visits of 30 minutes providing the following services:
- feeding and giving freshwater;
- litter cleaning;
- playing;
- sending pictures;
also, if needed:
- plant watering;
- collecting mail.
Dog walking is preferably for little to medium-sized or trained dogs since I'm not very mighty and it may be hard for me to hold a big or very active dog.
Of course, all security measures regarding locking the apartment or house will be kept.
I'm available for Downtown, West End and Yaletown. Other areas can be considered with an extra charge for transportation. My daily schedule is flexible. Usually I'm available in the afternoon but any other time is possible.
Please note that I don't provide prolonged (more than 30 minutes) sitting at the moment.
