For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Newton for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Newton Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Newton sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I love animals very much and miss them very much / I love to cuddle, play and take care of them / I will take care of your pet with joy and care / my love will last forever / usually everyone who knows me brings their babies again and again / you can also come and meet me and see in what conditions your baby will live / My story of love for animals is very simple, I grew up with cats and dogs and other animals from birth, and now I realized that I miss them very much and want to take care of them. I also have a second story of love for animals. I love to walk, and the best company for me is dogs, for me they are the best and most devoted friends. And as for cats, I love to pet them and hear their purring. And if you sum it all up, this is the most valuable pastime for me. Everyone who manages to meet me, you will be sure that your babies will be happy to spend time with me /

Hello! My name is Alita and I am a professional and experienced dog walker and sitter!
I provide walking services between 15, 30 or 1 hour and can check-in with your animal at your home when you don't have the time.
I have a 3 year old female Golden Bernese Mountain Dog that I have thoroughly trained myself. She is docile and friendly to all people, including children, and all animals, even cats!
I have been dog walking and sitting since I was 14 years old and have had a wide range of animals growing up including dogs, cats, mice and horses. I am a very friendly and easy-going animal lover and I would love to take care of your furry friend.
If you are interested in my service, kindly send me a messsge and I will get back to you within the day to arrange a day and time. I am also available to dog-sit and take care of your dog for a maximum of 30 minutes/day. I look forward to meet you ️

Before moving to Canada, I cared for my dog and two cats in Hong Kong. My dog is almost 3 years old, while my cats are 11 and 8 years old. They are now with my family, and I made sure to set everything up for their care. I prioritised their well-being, ensuring they were well-fed, and happy. Each pet has its own personality, and I paid close attention to their health, especially the older cat. My experience with them has taught me the importance of being attentive and responsible, and I truly enjoyed spending time with them before my move and I am planning to move them to Canada as well.
When I care for your furry family members, I treat them like my own! I love keeping owners updated with plenty of photos and check-ins throughout their time with me. Whether it's sticking to a specific feeding schedule or ensuring your dog gets at least two walks a day, I follow your routine to the letter. I also limit my schedule to one family at a time to ensure your pet gets the focused attention and love they deserve.
I work from home all day, so your lovely furry friend will never be left alone for more than 3 hours. They are welcome to sleep anywhere they feel comfortable, and you are more than welcome to bring along their bed to help them settle in.
I understand that cats are independent creatures. I always make sure to give them the space they need to feel comfortable and safe. Whether it’s letting them explore their environment or simply chilling in their favorite spot, I respect their boundaries while providing love and care when they’re ready for it.I've been caring for my cat for 11 years, and it's been quite a journey! When he was younger, he often got sick and needed a lot of medication. I gained a lot of experience in administering medicine, always making sure to give him the care he needed. Now, he’s getting old but still a healthy cat.

Pet parents can trust me to be dependable, attentive, and to go above and beyond to provide the best care possible 🤍
I am also photo addictive, so pet parents will get as many pictures as never before
Back to my home country I had quite a few dogs and cats during my childhood. And when I was growing up I was training them from the puppy age and I looked after them when they got older with some medical problems. So I can say that I have a lot experience for training puppies and help them develop good behavior and social skills from an early age. For senior pets, I offer attentive and compassionate care, understanding their specific needs and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
My genuine love for all kinds of pets, combined with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing personalized care, ensures that every pet I look after is happy, healthy, and well-cared for.
Unfortunately, I cannot have my own pet at the moment, but I have already pet sitted dogs and cats of my friends and I definitely enjoyed that experience.
I want to spread the love and help pet parents have peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in good hands while they are away

I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was a child. I make sure they eat on time, always have fresh water, and feel comfortable. I also take them out for regular walks and potty breaks throughout the day, so they can stretch and explore.
I work part-time on calls, and I am available on weekdays and weekends. I am right there and ready to take care of your pets, making sure they are happy, comfortable and well-looked after every day.
I have a cozy two-bedroom townhouse with plenty of space for your pets to feel comfortable. Our townhouse complex also has lots of open areas perfect for walks and some outdoor fun. I make sure your pets get exercise, fresh air and plenty of attention while staying safe and happy.
I can comfortably accommodate up to three dogs at a time, as long as they get along well with each other. I welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes, and I always focus on keeping a calm, safe, and friendly environment.
My goal is for every pup to feel relaxed, happy, and right at home while they are with me.

Hi! Thanks so much for considering me to take care of your furry family member(s)! Below, you will find more details on me and my experience as well as information on my rates. If you have any questions, please feel free to fire a message my way.I have over 30 years of experience with dogs and have owned dogs for most of my life; I have experienced everything from puppyhood to senior dog care. I have experience with dogs that have required and/or had wheelchairs, diapers, oral medications, eye and ear medications, post-surgery care, paralysis, deafness, blindness, seizures, cancer, skin conditions, special diets, allergic reactions, fear, reactivity, heart conditions, lacerations and broken nails, rescues, escape artists, dogs that try to eat everything, high and low energy dogs, sensitive dogs, ill and well mannered dogs, small to giant dogs, multi-dog families, unsocialized and socialized dogs, and many more.I follow positive reinforcement methodologies and pride myself in being incredibly patient. I will never force a dog in my care to experience anything that could be harmful to them in any way, including psychologically. Having owned dogs with fears and anxieties, I know that helping them through those emotions using positive reinforcement and teaching conditioned emotional responses is the most effective way to help improve their experiences and quality of life. I have had a golden retriever, a beagle, and now an Australian Shepherd, all of whom were/are my best friends.I love dogs and they love me! From teaching dogs new tricks to going on adventures together outside or just chilling at home, I'm up for every experience with your fur baby! I workout every day outside and would love some furry, four legged, company, so you can rest assured your dog will get the exercise it needs when staying with me.My partner and I are home full time, so we have the flexibility to accommodate your pup's needs. My mother-in-law also lives with us and loves to give the dogs all the love and attention that they need and more! We affectionately call all dogs that stay with us our "niños" (kids in Spanish - we're a bilingual household ) and we treat them all like family.I can't wait to meet your best friend and give him or her utmost love, care and attention. Thanks, in advance, for trusting me with your fur baby. ️-------------------Rates:My rates fluctuate throughout the year depending on demand. When requesting my services, please confirm my rate with me prior to finalizing your booking, especially if you are booking a month or more in advance. Rates for intact (non-neutered/non-spayed) dogs:My rates for intact dogs are the same as my puppy rates & holiday puppy rates. The reason for this is because dogs that have not been neutered or spayed require extra precautions to be taken to ensure their safety and wellbeing. I have found that it is rarely the intact dog that causes issues but rather the reactions of neutered males to the presence of intact dogs. My space is setup to accommodate for this and therefore, your intact dog will never be put into any unsafe situation. If you would like more information about how I care for your intact fur baby, please don't hesitate to reach out. Drop-off & pickup times:Depending on the schedule at the time, I may be able to accommodate early and late drop-off and pickup times. If you require drop-off or pickup before 7am or after 9:30pm, an extra $15 will apply for each occurrence of early and/or late drop-off/pickup. If the drop-off or pickup times are earlier or later than I can accommodate, please schedule your pup to be dropped off the day/night before and/or picked up a day later.Daycare rates:My posted daycare rates are for services between 7am and 8pm. If you require daycare outside of these hours, an extra $15 will apply for each occurrence of early and/or late drop-off/pickup. In some instances, I will ask for you to book boarding services rather than daycare services if the drop-off or pick-up times are beyond what I can accommodate with my schedule. If the daycare duration is over 10 hours, an extra $10 will apply.Rates for dogs that require extra attention or that have special needs:Depending on the needs of your pup, an extra amount may apply and will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Drop-off or pick-up service:The posted rate for me to come pickup and/or drop-off your pup is $50 per round trip. So if I were to pickup and drop-off your pup, it would be $100 for this service unless otherwise agreed upon.

Hi there! My name is Kayla , and I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals of all kinds. From caring for my own pets to helping friends and family with theirs, I’ve always found joy in making sure animals feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.

My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from the belief that pets deserve just as much comfort and attention as people do when their routine changes. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or cuddles on the couch, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your fur baby with someone new, which is why I prioritize trust, transparency, and communication every step of the way.

Yes, I do have experience! I’ve cared for both cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including seniors and pets with special needs. I’m also fully committed to health and safety, so I only accept vaccinated pets into my home.

If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, I’m your sitter!
