I have experience with dogs that have required and/or had  wheelchairs, diapers, oral medications, eye and ear medications, post-surgery care, paralysis, deafness, blindness, seizures, cancer, skin conditions, special diets, allergic reactions, fear, reactivity, heart conditions, lacerations and broken nails, rescues, escape artists, dogs that try to eat everything, high and low energy dogs, sensitive dogs, ill and well mannered dogs, small to giant dogs, multi-dog families, unsocialized and socialized dogs, and many more.I follow positive reinforcement methodologies and pride myself in being incredibly patient. I will never force a dog in my care to experience anything that could be harmful to them in any way, including psychologically. Having owned dogs with fears and anxieties, I know that helping them through those emotions using positive reinforcement and teaching conditioned emotional responses is the most effective way to help improve their experiences and quality of life.&nbsp;I have had a golden retriever, a beagle, and now an Australian Shepherd, all of whom were/are my best friends.I love dogs and they love me! When requesting my services, please confirm my rate with me prior to finalizing your booking, especially if you are booking a month or more in advance.&nbsp;Rates for intact (non-neutered/non-spayed) dogs:My rates for intact dogs are the same as my puppy rates &amp; holiday puppy rates. The reason for this is because dogs that have not been neutered or spayed require extra precautions to be taken to ensure their safety and wellbeing. I have found that it is rarely the intact dog that causes issues but rather the reactions of neutered males to the presence of intact dogs. My space is setup to accommodate for this and therefore, your intact dog will never be put into any unsafe situation. If you would like more information about how I care for your intact fur baby, please don't hesitate to reach out.&nbsp;Drop-off &amp; pickup times:Depending on the schedule at the time, I may be able to accommodate early and late drop-off and pickup times. If you require drop-off or pickup before 7am or after 9:30pm, an extra $15 will apply for each occurrence of early and/or late drop-off/pickup. If the drop-off or pickup times are earlier or later than I can accommodate, please schedule your pup to be dropped off the day/night before and/or picked up a day later.Daycare rates:My posted daycare rates are for services between 7am and 8pm. If you require daycare outside of these hours, an extra $15 will apply for each occurrence of early and/or late drop-off/pickup. In some instances, I will ask for you to book boarding services rather than daycare services if the drop-off or pick-up times are beyond what I can accommodate with my schedule. If the daycare duration is over 10 hours, an extra $10 will apply.Rates for dogs that require extra attention or that have special needs:Depending on the needs of your pup, an extra amount may apply and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.&nbsp;Drop-off or pick-up service:The posted rate for me to come pickup and/or drop-off your pup is $50 per round trip. So if I were to pickup and drop-off your pup, it would be $100 for this service unless otherwise agreed upon.

I have always had pets - whether that be dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, chickens or even a tortoise! I spent most of my summers on our family farm, helping out with all kinds of animals whilst there.
I'm comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Over the last few years, I looked after a very bouncy (&amp; sometimes quite nervous) Working Labrador. This was from the puppy training phase. I've also owned older dogs who have struggled with issues like arthritus and incontinence, and am used to managing unexcepted surprises! I love walking and am very active, so would look forward to taking your pets for stimulating and fulfilling walks. I'm also a five minute walk from a park and ten minutes from the beautiful open waterfront.&nbsp;

I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and horses my whole life. I’m trustworthy, reliable and have a genuine love for animals and I’d be happy to take care of your loved one!I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to walk your dog or give attention to your animals. I do not have any pets, so I genuinely have a love for looking after animals as if they were my own. I have a spacious 2 bedroom apartment for your pet, and regularly walk through the Olympic Village dog park, seawall and numerous trails and parks on the daily. Your dog will be receiving the 5 star treatment as if they are staying in a hotel. It's located in a modern and spacious pet-friendly building in the downtown Vancouver core.I’m available to meet after 9 am on weekdays, up until 10pm. I will walk your dog(s) a minimum of 3 times a day for 1 hr+ if needed and can also provide them with treats (unless otherwise specified). For home visits, I'm available for either overnight stays or drop in visits for up to two hours at a time. I'm also available to water any plants and collect your packages or mail. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs that should be accounted for. I will be sure to note all of these, including dietary restrictions or medications.
