For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Hawkwood for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Hawkwood Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Hawkwood sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I am a caring and responsible dog owner who truly understands how important it is to trust someone with your pet. While I do not have formal professional experience as a pet sitter, I have meaningful, hands-on experience caring for dogs in my daily life.
I previously lived in Australia with my own dog, where I was fully responsible for daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
This experience helped me develop patience, consistency, and a strong sense of responsibility when caring for dogs.
In addition to caring for my own dog, I have often helped friends by walking and looking after their dogs when they needed support. Through these experiences, I have learned to adapt to different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and to provide calm, attentive care.
Yes, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. This is to ensure the health and safety of my own dog as well as any pets in my care. Requiring up-to-date vaccinations helps create a clean, safe, and stress-free environment for everyone.

My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for dogs and my understanding of how stressful it can be for owners to leave their pets with someone new. I am able to provide in-home dog care in a clean, dog-friendly space where dogs can feel safe and relaxed.
I charge per visit or per day, depending on the level of care needed.

Hi there! I’m Sherry, and I bring over 16 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, including seniors who may need extra time, patience, and gentle support. I truly love dogs, cats, and many other furry friends, and I care for every pet as if they were my own. Whether you need daily check-ins, dog walking, senior care, or overnight stays, my goal is always to ensure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved.Because I work from home, pet care naturally fits into my day. I have the flexibility to offer frequent attention—regular playtime, walks, feeding, bathroom breaks, or simply keeping your pet company throughout the day. Your pet won’t ever feel rushed or overlooked; they’ll be included in my daily routine and receive consistent companionship. When pets stay in my home, I provide a calm and comfortable environment with plenty of space to rest and play. I follow a predictable routine—feeding at scheduled times, keeping fresh water available, offering multiple walks, and giving lots of affection. I’m attentive to their mood and behavior, especially if they’re older, anxious, or have special needs. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I follow your instructions closely to maintain their usual habits and help them feel at ease in their familiar surroundings. I stick to their feeding schedule, offer companionship, keep the home tidy, and send regular photo updates so you always feel connected and reassured.I also take safety seriously. I monitor pets closely during walks, use secure leashes and harnesses, and keep a basic pet first-aid kit on hand. If an emergency ever arises, I’m prepared to respond quickly—contacting you immediately, assessing the situation calmly, and seeking veterinary support if needed. My priority is always your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness. I’m dedicated, reliable, and committed to giving your pet the same love and attention they get at home.

I am Talvir D and let me tell you a little bit of who I am. I specialize in training big dogs such an cane corso’s, I work with separation anxiety, aggressive behaviour, anxiety triggered aggression, pulling while walking, patience cues, anything and everything correlated with behaviour development. I’m extremely proud of what I do and my abilities to deliver on what I promise I say that very confidently. A lil bit more about myself, I am currently attending mount royal university and trying to complete my degree in Athletic Therapy, my goals in the future are to obtain my degree and become a physiotherapist. I love athletics and the outdoors to be honest anything to do with being active. I myself have be heavily involved in sports from a very young age and just more of a outdoor kid rather than inside playing games. that being said i continued to excel in every sport I played such as basketball, volleyball, and track/field. I have competed at a high level in each of the mentioned sports, I played all through high school and achieved a ton of experience and enjoyed it to the fullest. I personally also am very passionate in the rehabilitation and rehab side of athletics as well as the competition at a elite level. I took 3 years of sports medicine and loved each and every moment of it, allowed me to not only become a better athlete but allowed me to help fellow teammates with injury assessment and rehab. I have been nominated for athlete of the year and continue to peruse basketball at a post-secondary level. I am heavily involved within the community with charity events to help the less fortunate and in the end grow as a community. Taking care of dogs just seems like the ultimate job to have fun and be happy.

The back yard has 3 separate areas all fenced off, main area largest space 6ft fence grassy. Smaller area with 4ft fence and stone ground. And large areas grassy 4ft fence. All areas are for dogs to have their own areas to play and if needed me separated.

Inside carpet in living room just got it steam cleaned so please let me know if your pup isn't house trained. Hallways and kitchen is tiled, basement is also carpet but they won't be downstairs unless it's really hot upstairs and they need to cool off.

Hello & thank you so much for your interest in my services.
I've taken care of dogs and other pets since I was a child, I am a highly capable 'healthy alpha' pack leader and understand dog hierarchies and the dynamics of how they play and interact with each other. I was previously a Montessori teacher for a decade+ in Shanghai, China. I also homeschool my kids now so they're here to play and help out with your pet needs as well.
I'm currently available to take care of animals full time. Your animal will be our priority as we are a highly dedicated animal loving family and have lots of experience with many dogs at once. We have a small fenced yard and dogs can be let out when required to do their business as necessary.
I offer overnight boarding for your fur friends for both long and short term stays. I work from home and so we are here to attend to your dogs all day long. We make regular visits to the dog parks in town so that your dog gets the exercise and play they need for optimal psychological and physical health.
I also offer doggy day care for those who want to leave their dog cared for and attended to during long shifts where they would left alone too long. We offer a sociable environment for your fur buddies but do expect that they can already get along well with others--both human and dog.
I am also available for dog walks and or visits to the dog park. As is often said, a tired dog is a happy dog and we strive to make sure your dog plays until their heart's content daily before returning home for downtime. Should a second visit or a leashed walker be required again we won't hesitate to go again in the evening.

Hello!
After being gone traveling for housesitting and pet sitting in B.C. and Alberta I am back in Calgary and looking forward to taking care of your pets! See my gallery for some of my 5 star reviews!!
I just moved to a new build so my backyard is not finished which means right now your pups get to go on more walks!
My dog Bailey & I are looking forward to caring for your home &/or pets!
I work from home coaching people to help them live their best life. Pets are usually not left alone longer than a couple of hours in a day.
I have many years of experience with animals. I do animal healing as well.
Your pets and your home will be in good hands!
I have experience in giving meds, senior care, anxiety etc for those that need some extra love and care.
Bailey is a small dog and is a very gentle soul. He does well with many animals.
I am open to long term stays as well :)
A little more about me.... I grew up on a farm and learned to love animals at a very young age. Cats, bunnies, dogs etc. I use to talk to them as a child. If you asked my sister she'd tell you I called the ants my friends! Who knew where the connection with animals would lead me.
in my business I use the guidance our animals are always giving us as a way to help their humans live the life they were truly meant too.
Bailey and I love to go on adventures whether that be a stroll in the lark or taking a ride to the mountains.
i start my mornings with a dog walk (weather permitting .... Eek winter!!). And I often take a walking break mid day or close to supper as a way to end the day.
We do go off leash, but I am also open to taking any dog that needs to be on leash only. I work with the comfort of your pet.
Walks are anywhere from 30 mins-60 mins at a time. At least twice a day. Depending on weather and animal comfort & safety.
Your animals will be safe and protected as if they are one of my very own.
i take pictures and videos often and send them to you while you are away !
i may ask a lot of questions because I want to make sure your pets feel at home with me.
I am open to many dog cuddles as possible!
I am open to a video chat and a meet and greet!
PS I am open to dog sitting outside of Calgary as I'm often in Canmore & Banff area as well as Cochrane & Okotoks

As a dedicated pet lover with a deep passion for animals, being a pet sitter is not just a job for me, but a calling. I believe that pets are beloved members of our families, and they deserve the highest level of care and attention when their owners are away.
With years of experience in pet care, including volunteering at local animal shelters and fostering animals in need, I have honed my skills in providing exceptional care for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals. I understand the unique needs and personalities of different animals, and I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for them.
One of my top priorities as a pet sitter is the health and safety of the pets in my care. That's why I require all pets to be up-to-date on vaccinations to ensure the well-being of both the visiting pets and those in my home. This policy ensures a healthy and secure environment for all furry guests. I have a very secure location in my house where they are allowed to roam freely in the house with my backyard being the place best to hang out. I prefer the environment where the client is more comfortable towards its furry being as I understand animals love to stay more where they have grown up. I'm open to stay at client's house for a day or two for house sitting.
As a pet sitter, I offer a range of services tailored to the needs of each individual pet, including regular exercise, feeding, bathing, and administering medication if necessary. I am also skilled in handling emergencies giving pet owners peace of mind knowing that their beloved pets are in capable and caring hands.
Above all, my motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my unwavering love and passion for animals. I am dedicated to providing the best care possible for pets, creating a stress-free and enjoyable experience for them, and building lasting relationships with both the pets and their owners.

I'm Diane, living near downtown Calgary. I have a really good instinct with animals in general and took care of the cats in my family : we had 2 ! Lois and Eva for 10 years but I sadly left them in south of France where I come from. So I adopted Ninja, an adorable black kittie who would love some conpany.
My favorites games with them : pickaboo, chase me chase you. I have a lot of love to give to animals, and my dream would be to have my own place and to do cat yoga workshops!!
Be assured that I will give love, attention to your cat(s), and will have an immense pleasure to play with them and will report to you any problem I observe.
Ninja is a very sociable cat, who cries on the balcony when he does see other cats. I know he would love a little brother or a little sister but I can't for now. I already dis some playdates with the cat of a friend and Ninja adapted very quickly. If your cat is a bit shy and afraid, might not be a good match as Ninja will try to play.
I work from home so I will be there most of the time to keep an eye on the cats.
Message me if you want me to take care of your cat for a few days!!
