For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Brampton for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Brampton Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Brampton sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hello!
Thank you for reading my profile .
My name is Maria and I have been taking care of pets since I was a little girl. I love animals! They are so precious to me. I have 30 years experience caring for dogs, birds, cats, hamsters, fish and turtles. I am fun, kind and friendly to all animals and I provide the best care for all animals and I treat them like family. I always provide photos via text to let owners know how their pet is doing under my care. I want my clients to feel secure that their pets are safe and loved while I'm taking care of them.
I provide all services from home visits to overnight boarding. Please don't hesitate to reach out anytime if you have any questions.
I also have experience in providing medication, special food handling instructions, and CPR to animals too.
Your pets are in the best hands under my care. I always provide love, compassion and enthusiasm to my clients and their pets.
Also, feel free to contact me anytime while I am taking care of your beautiful pets 🩷.

We’re an active pet-sitter couple with a very energetic Border Collie who keeps us moving every day.
High-energy companions feel completely at home with us, because activity, structure, and engagement are part of our normal routine.
From long walks and hikes to focused playtime and mental stimulation, we make sure every pet gets the outlet they need.
We don’t believe in bored animals or rushed care!
Why choose us?
We have hands-on experience with high-drive and working breeds and understand their physical and mental needs.
As a couple, we provide two sets of eyes, extra attention, and dependable coverage.
Our active lifestyle means plenty of outdoor time, varied routes, and energy-burning adventures.
We use calm, positive, and confident handling to build trust quickly.
Routine matters to us, so meals, walks, play, and rest stay balanced.
Your pet won’t just be cared for; they’ll feel fulfilled, exercised, and relaxed by the end of the day.
We treat every stay like it matters—because it does.

I would be a great dog sitter because I bring both real experience and genuine care to every dog I look after. I will lowkey try to steal your dogs heart.
Having owned a dog myself, I understand the daily responsibilities that come with proper care—feeding routines, 2-3 walks a day, attention, and recognizing a dog’s unique personality and needs. Through my own dog, I’ve had the opportunity to interact with many other dogs and owners, and I’ve consistently had positive, friendly experiences.
My dog got along well with others, which reflects my ability to read dog behavior and help create safe, comfortable interactions.
I’m also confident handling dogs of all sizes, including large breeds, and I’m comfortable taking them on structured, controlled walks. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and safety, especially when it comes to leash control and maintaining a calm environment.
Beyond that, I treat every dog as if they were my own—making sure they feel secure, engaged, and cared for while you’re away. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to giving pet owners peace of mind knowing their dog is in good hands.

I am a lifelong animal lover and pet parent. I have lived with/cared for dogs, cats, fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, chickens, and snakes! I am Animal First Aid & CPR certified through St. John's Ambulance and I have experience caring for senior pets, wildlife rescues, and administering medications (including injections).I am a full-time pet caregiver so I'm always available 9am-5pm weekdays, and can take overnight stays any day of the week/weekend. I'm extremely flexible, so any requests are welcomed! BOARDING/DOGGY DAYCARE: I have a car for transport and a nice dog park nearby for exercise. There's a huge field next to my building for bathroom breaks and we take two walks daily in the morning and evening. I have gates, potty training materials, mobility equipment, and a medium crate if necessary. For small animals I have barricades for free roam time in the bedroom, and I have a two-storey Critter Nation cage for downtime/sleep. I also have lots of comfy cushions and blankets to lounge on. All animals are welcome on my couch for cuddles! :) CAPACITY: I can accomodate up to 2 sets of small caged animals* but I only take dogs from one owner at a time whether it's for daycare or boarding.HOME VISITS: This is for animals who are more comfortable in their own homes. I will spend 30 minutes at your home to play with your pet, assess for injury or illness, clean litter trays, and feed/water them. If you require multiple days I will also include a perimeter check of your home and mail pickup upon request. WEEKEND VISITS: Because I care for animals full-time, I can only accommodate one home visit per weekend day (Sat/Sun) unless medications are required twice daily.DOG WALKS: I walk dogs on an individual basis, 11am-3pm weekdays. I can work with your dog on leash reactivity and basic walking etiquette. You will receive a progress report after each walk (how they did, health concerns, poop schedule, etc).*Contained animals are charged PER ENCLOSURE not per animal (i.e. one cage for 3 rats is not extra)! Please let me know if your animal has any special needs or behaviours, in advance. I have a variety of tools and equipment I can prepare.

Hi! My name is Andres, and I’ve worked in the animal field for over 10 years, and it’s honestly something I truly love doing. I treat every dog like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, so I focus on keeping a calm, clean, and loving environment at all times. Whether your dog loves playtime, cuddles, or just a quiet place to relax, I make sure their stay feels like a home away from home.
Because of this background, I’m confident working with all breeds, all sizes, and pets who may need extra patience, structure, or understanding. I myself have rescued all my fur babies! 3 cats and a dog / mastiff mix . I have experience in dealing with dogs who are both leash/ other dog reactive so I am confident in providing them for a safe space so they can enjoy there walk with me :).

What Makes My Care Different
I’m calm, patient, and experienced with reactive, nervous, and high-energy dogs. I’m trained in reading body language, safe handling, and basic first aidYour pet’s routine, comfort, and safety always come first
I send detailed updates + photos/videos every visit. I love the parents to know there fur babies are in the best of hands! :)
I treat every animal like they’re my own
Our days usually start with a nice walk along a nearby trail so the dogs can get fresh air, explore, and burn off some energy. After that, we keep things calm with proper nap time and downtime so everyone can relax and recharge. I stick to a balanced routine of walks, play, meals, and rest, adjusting to each dog’s needs. One thing that makes my care a bit different is that I don’t rush the day — I pay attention to what each dog is telling me and keep things low-stress, structured, and comfortable.
Services I Offer
Dog walking (solo or multiple dogs)
Drop-in visits / potty breaks
In house boarding / Feeding, meds, cleaning
Cat care and enrichment
Weekend & evening walks available
(If your pet has special needs, medical conditions, or behavior quirks—just let me know. I’m very comfortable with customized care.) In my experience in the emergency vet med field , i helped technicians in giving animals their medication needed, as well as taking a small course on first aid. Rest assured, your pet will be in the best care! :)

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out — I’m happy to chat and meet your pet beforehand! Looking forward to helping you with reliable, loving care. :)
