Top cities for cat sitting in Canada

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly New Westminster Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our New Westminster cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our New Westminster cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

¡Hello! I'm a passionate dog lover with extensive experience in dog walking, providing both individual walks and small group adventures (up to 3 dogs). I absolutely love spending time with our four-legged friends and am thrilled to continue doing what I love most in Vancouver - making dogs happy and healthy through exercise and companionship.
My experience includes:

Individual dog walking with personalized attention tailored to your dog's pace and preferences
Small group walks ensuring safe socialization and fun interactions
Understanding different breeds and their unique needs, energy levels, and temperaments
Reliable, punctual service with genuine care for each dog
Flexible scheduling to accommodate your busy lifestyle
Regular updates and photos so you can see how much fun your pup is having

I believe every dog deserves quality time outdoors, proper exercise, and loving attention. I treat every dog as if they were my own, providing not just exercise but also mental stimulation, socialization opportunities, and peace of mind for their families. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, from energetic young dogs who need longer adventures to senior dogs who prefer gentle, shorter walks.
Whether your dog loves solo adventures where they can explore at their own pace or thrives with canine companions in a small group setting, I'm here to make their day brighter while keeping them safe, engaged, and happy.
Let's make your furry friend's tail wag with joy!

Hi everyone! I've known I was a cat person since I was five. I met my cat, Lala, during college while studying in Palo Alto, California. She was a stray who came to my apartment every day for food, and over time, she became my best friend. We started living together and created so many amazing memories.
Unfortunately, three years ago, she was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, and our lifestyle had to change significantly, including medication three times a day and daily subcutaneous fluids.
From my experience, I understand the stress of caring for a cat with a medical condition. That’s why I want to help others with my skills and experience. Apart from that, I am a detail-oriented and quiet person who simply loves spending time with cats.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions and I am looking foward to spending time with you cats ;)

I’m patient, gentle, and pay close attention to each animal’s personality and routine. Whether your pet loves cuddles, play, or quiet rest, I tailor the experience to their needs.

Back to my home country I had quite a few dogs and cats during my childhood. And when I was growing up I was training them from the puppy age and I looked after them when they got older with some medical problems. So I can say that I have a lot experience for training puppies and help them develop good behavior and social skills from an early age. For senior pets, I offer attentive and compassionate care, understanding their specific needs and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
My genuine love for all kinds of pets, combined with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing personalized care, ensures that every pet I look after is happy, healthy, and well-cared for.
Unfortunately, I cannot have my own pet at the moment, but I have already pet sitted dogs and cats of my friends and I definitely enjoyed that experience.
I want to spread the love and help pet parents have peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in good hands while they are away
