Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Mission AB Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Mission AB cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Mission AB cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

I have adored all animals since I was a kid, growing up on a farm I cared for horses, cows, Chickens, pigs, goats and many dogs. As I got older the connection I felt to animals grew stronger and I found myself dreaming about caring for them on a regular basis. In 2018 I worked with Rescue Paws Thailand for 7 months to help control the population of stray dogs, I couldn't be more grateful for this experience as this is where I met my bestfriend Chazzy, (my dog) who is a special part of our family now.Today I have 2 animals of my own, a doggo and bunny. I have experience working in a professional daycare environment, as well as home-based which is what I offer full-time. I have 22 Years experience working and loving animals of all breeds, I believe animals are family, and I intend to treat yours just like my own.I am home full time mon-friday, with the acception of leaving the house for 1-2 hours Max and I can board on weekends if we discuss ahead of time.I do not allow any animals during their phase of heat I'm sorry.I offer a cozy sleeping area for all guests filled with blankets and soft beds, although some may choose to sleep where they want.Bathroom breaks ( and play time ) will happen in my large fenced in yard where there will be puppy pool pawties in the summer as well. I offer mental stimulation with games and tunnels, and physical stimulation with daily walks and special adventures to the park.I offer Bath & Brushes, nail trims, playdates, and more!I can have 4 guests here at all times not including my own pets, and walks will be offered depended on availability. I live with my fiance and our fur babies. My fiance works outside the house full-time but also helps me with animal care on weekends

About Me
Hi! I’m Katie, an Irish dog lover who recently moved to Calgary . I’m based in Bankview and I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry friends!

Getting around: I walk and also use Uber. My service area is generally within a 20-minute walk or around a 10-minute Uber ride from Bankview, so I can reliably get to and from your home within this area.

I’ve grown up around dogs and have always loved being around animals. I currently have two dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable with the responsibility, patience and care that comes with looking after pets. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, and I’ll always make sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable.

I offer dog walking and drop-in visits, including walks tailored to your dog’s energy level. I’m happy to provide feeding, playtime, attention, cuddles and general care, as well as cleaning up after your pet and keeping their space tidy.

I’m responsible, caring, patient and attentive, and I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, including nervous or shy dogs, and I’ll always follow your instructions and their usual routine. ️

I’m currently available for bookings and would be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so you and your pet can get comfortable with me! ️

! Please note that although we love all pets, we can ONLY look after CATS at this time !

My family and I have always had cats. The cat I grew up with was more of a sibling than a pet, and my current cats are my children. I've had many a cat friend (and occasionally got along with them better than with their humans!), and in social situations, I dedicate as long to my friends' pets as I do to my friends themselves. I've trained my cats to do tricks, walk on a leash, and I brush their teeth daily.

Please make sure to let me know ahead of time if your cats have any preference, special needs, or particular behaviours that I should be aware of; I should be able to accommodate most of these. For instance, I can mix different types of food, adding some water to their food, heating it when it comes out of the fridge, adding supplements/medicine, etc. In some cases, I may also be able to trim claws, clean ears, and the like, if your cat is particularly friendly, too! I have experience administering medicine (pills, liquid medicine injected orally, inhaler, etc.).

My motivation to be a pet sitter is my passion for animals. I've had dogs, cats, and bunnies my entire life.
I have 25 years experience caring for cats and dogs. Walking numerous friend's dogs, and caring for cats.
I’m a Dog Behavior & Care Expert expert with a focus on making sure your dog is well-cared for, healthy, and as happy as possible since while you’re away since the dog may suffer from separation anxiety.
As a Dog Behavior & Care Expert, I watch for symptoms and behaviour changes.
My lifestyle is active and healthy and I truly enjoy dog walking and caring for all animals.
It would be a pleasure to take care of your home and your pets and plants while you are away. I’m focused on establishing a relationship for repeats visits for when you need my services again and want a reliable and loving dog sitter, caretaker, dog walker.
I will continue the routine your dog is used to. Walk and feed the dog at the same time every day. When you continue the routine your dog is used to having, your dog will experience less stress when you are way. Routine is extremely important for dogs and helps reduce the stress of having the owner gone.
I offer housesitting and dog walking service. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs, so I walk for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on how energetic the dog is and how much exercise it needs. I can water plants if required for housesitting.

Hi! I’m a cat lover with over 2 years of pet sitting experience on another app. I’ve had the pleasure of caring for many cats with different personalities, from shy and cautious kitties to playful and affectionate cuddle bugs.
I understand that every cat has their own routine and comfort level, so I always take the time to build trust and let them approach me at their own pace. For shy or nervous cats, I usually start by sitting nearby, speaking softly, and giving them space until they feel comfortable. Once they’re ready, I’ll slowly introduce treats, playtime, or gentle attention based on their personality.
I work a part-time job, so I have a flexible schedule and can usually work with different visit times. My visits are typically around 30 minutes, where I’ll make sure your kitty has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, attention, and a comfortable environment.
I’ll also send photo and video updates so you can stay connected with your furry friend while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your care instructions and keep an eye out for any changes in behavior, appetite, or health.
I’d love the opportunity to meet your kitty and provide them with a safe, comfortable, and loving experience while you’re away!

Howdy! My name is Vanessa, I moved to Calgary in May 2022. I love the mountains, road trips, camping and outdoor activies. I live in Bankview with my boyfriend and our senior citizen dog. Her name is Lili, she's a 14 years old chihuahua-daschund. I have always loved animals and have had a few growing up, cats, hamster, rabbit and dogs.
Me and my boyfriend started cat sitting our neighbor's adorable 3 cats. We loved going there to feed them, play with them, hangout for a bit and clean their litter boxes. She moved away and we miss hanging out with the cats and taking care of them! That's why I decided to become a pet sitter with Pawshake. I have taken care of numerous pets for friends and family over the years.
I currently offer cat sitting with visits available once a day. Services include refilling and cleaning food/water dishes, cleaning litter box, brushing them and playing with them. I will also send photos so you know your fur babies are well.
I'm also available to walk your small-medium dog for 30 minutes.
I would prefer if you're located within inner city, but feel free to send me a message to discuss other options. I'm mostly available during the weekends, Friday to Sunday.
I can't wait to meet you and your fur babies! Please do not hesitate to message me if you have any questions.I don't have a lot of pictures with animals as I'm always the photographer.
Cheers!
