Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Killarney AB Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Killarney AB cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Killarney AB cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

I am a caring and responsible dog owner who truly understands how important it is to trust someone with your pet. While I do not have formal professional experience as a pet sitter, I have meaningful, hands-on experience caring for dogs in my daily life.
I previously lived in Australia with my own dog, where I was fully responsible for daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
This experience helped me develop patience, consistency, and a strong sense of responsibility when caring for dogs.
In addition to caring for my own dog, I have often helped friends by walking and looking after their dogs when they needed support. Through these experiences, I have learned to adapt to different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and to provide calm, attentive care.
Yes, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. This is to ensure the health and safety of my own dog as well as any pets in my care. Requiring up-to-date vaccinations helps create a clean, safe, and stress-free environment for everyone.

My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for dogs and my understanding of how stressful it can be for owners to leave their pets with someone new. I am able to provide in-home dog care in a clean, dog-friendly space where dogs can feel safe and relaxed.
I charge per visit or per day, depending on the level of care needed.

Hey there!
My name is Brittney. In April 2021, I graduated from University of Calgary by completing my after-degree in Education. I have recently earned a continuous full-time teaching contract with the CBE. I will be teaching Grade 1 in NE Calgary for the 2024-2025 school year. One of my interests includes swimming as I used to be a competitive swimmer and coached for a number of years. My other interests include yoga and reading. I also love to travel, so I understand the need to have peace of mind when going away and leaving a pet behind. I had a dog as a kid, however my main passion is cats. I have always wanted a cat since I was a kid, but my parents were allergic. About 7 years ago, I finally adopted a cat with my boyfriend from the Central Alberta Humane Society in Red Deer before moving to Calgary. She unfortunately passed away in early August. We adopted a cat at the end of October 2024, naming her Honey. We are so happy to have a cat in our lives again!
Services that I offer include visits for your cat. I am located in central SW Calgary, so I am able to offer single home visits within a reasonable distance of the central SW area. I offer double day visits for the included areas: Rosscarock, Wildwood, Strathcona Park, Killarney, Glenbrook, Signal Hill, Glamorgan, South Calgary areas. Since I am working in the NE during the school year (just off Memorial), I would be open to providing services in that area as well. If you are questioning whether or not I offer services in your area, feel free to shoot me a message and we can figure things out! My home visits will be a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour. During my home visit, I will provide fresh water and food, clean litter boxes, and of course give your kitty some love! With my busy work as a teacher, I only offer single visits during the week. Weekday single visits will occur around supper time/after school hours. On weekends that I am available, I offer 2x visits as well as single visits; however, will only be taking 1 booking at a time during the school year. With my experience of having a cat of my own, I am confident I can provide the care that your cat needs while you are away. If you want to get to know me and my services better, feel free to message me!

I will continue the routine your dog is used to. Walk and feed the dog at the same time every day. Routine is extremely important for dogs and helps reduce the stress of having the owner gone.

I have adored all animals since I was a kid, growing up on a farm I cared for horses, cows, Chickens, pigs, goats and many dogs. As I got older the connection I felt to animals grew stronger and I found myself dreaming about caring for them on a regular basis. In 2018 I worked with Rescue Paws Thailand for 7 months to help control the population of stray dogs, I couldn't be more grateful for this experience as this is where I met my bestfriend Chazzy, (my dog) who is a special part of our family now.Today I have 2 animals of my own, a doggo and bunny. I have experience working in a professional daycare environment, as well as home-based which is what I offer full-time. I have 22 Years experience working and loving animals of all breeds, I believe animals are family, and I intend to treat yours just like my own.I am home full time mon-friday, with the acception of leaving the house for 1-2 hours Max and I can board on weekends if we discuss ahead of time.I do not allow any animals during their phase of heat I'm sorry.I offer a cozy sleeping area for all guests filled with blankets and soft beds, although some may choose to sleep where they want.Bathroom breaks ( and play time ) will happen in my large fenced in yard where there will be puppy pool pawties in the summer as well. I offer mental stimulation with games and tunnels, and physical stimulation with daily walks and special adventures to the park.I offer Bath & Brushes, nail trims, playdates, and more!I can have 4 guests here at all times not including my own pets, and walks will be offered depended on availability. I live with my fiance and our fur babies. Howdy! My name is Vanessa, I moved to Calgary in May 2022. I love the mountains, road trips, camping and outdoor activies. I live in Bankview with my boyfriend and our senior citizen dog. Her name is Lili, she's a 14 years old chihuahua-daschund. I have always loved animals and have had a few growing up, cats, hamster, rabbit and dogs.
Me and my boyfriend started cat sitting our neighbor's adorable 3 cats. We loved going there to feed them, play with them, hangout for a bit and clean their litter boxes. She moved away and we miss hanging out with the cats and taking care of them! That's why I decided to become a pet sitter with Pawshake. I have taken care of numerous pets for friends and family over the years.
I currently offer cat sitting with visits available once a day. Services include refilling and cleaning food/water dishes, cleaning litter box, brushing them and playing with them. I will also send photos so you know your fur babies are well.
I'm also available to walk your small-medium dog for 30 minutes.
I would prefer if you're located within inner city, but feel free to send me a message to discuss other options. I'm mostly available during the weekends, Friday to Sunday.
I can't wait to meet you and your fur babies! Please do not hesitate to message me if you have any questions.I don't have a lot of pictures with animals as I'm always the photographer.
Cheers!
