"I cannot say enough good things about Giacomo! From our first meeting, I found him to be exactly the kind of person you want to look after your pets. We were going on a holiday in Portugal for eight days and immediately booked him to cat sit before someone else snapped him up! First, he took the time to meet my two cats and was very attentive when I went through their day to day routine. You could tell he just loves animals. One of our cats requires medication mixed with her food twice daily. When we arrived in Portugal, I received a message from Giacomo that the fob we gave him wasn’t working. He did not panic! Because of the time difference, I was not able to get back to him in time for his first visit. He was very quick thinking and buzzed random people in the building until someone let him in! He was very quick to communicate with us over the next couple of days and we coordinated with a neighbour who he had to contact ahead of each visit to have them meet him and let him in. Needless to say, this was a lot of extra work for him. It took a couple of days to sort things out before we got his fob reactivated. He was so good about it! In his communications, he let us know how sweet our cats were and how much he was genuinely enjoying them. Some days, rather than visiting twice, he would stay and our cats had him around all day. One msg we received said one of them was sitting on his lap for 2-3 hours a day. The other was rolling over so he could rub her belly! As a result, we had absolutely no worries about how they were doing, leaving us to relax and thoroughly enjoy our holiday. He sent a message during his last visit to check to make sure we were arriving on schedule and offered to do additional visits if we were delayed. How responsible and thoughtful! When we returned, our cats were of course happy to see us but for the first few days you could tell they missed Giacomo. He left us with a very high standard of care to live up to! Any animal would be very lucky to have Giacomo look after them. "

"Tous c'est super bien passé. 2 semaines en mon absence et mon chat était en plaine forme à mon retour. tu as été très professionnel. tu as fait plus que ce je voulais, ton attention sur doudou m'a rassuré tout au long de mon absence. ta communication journalière était très rassurante pour moi. sur la voie que tu aimes les animaux et que tu les connais. Il est évident que je recommande Kassandra pour prendre soin de vos animaux en votre absence elle c'est de quoi elle parle... un gros MERCI mademoiselle tu as été géniale. Everything went really well. 2 weeks in my absence and my cat was in great shape when I returned. You were very professional. "One of our main concerns with traveling on a vacation was what to do with our cat. She is a shy and anxious kitty. We thought about boarding her but with consideration to her personality, thought it would be best to have someone come in and visit her in our home.
We found Samy on Pawshake and couldn’t have been happier with how she has helped us. She was willing to come to our house before we left and get introduced to our cat. While we were gone Samy sent us updates after visits with pix included. Samy was punctual and attentive.
She went far beyond what we expected of her and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a person to care for their cat.
