Good care and a fun time are what my partner and I can guarantee for your pet! If your fur babies like a day out at the park or they love the outdoors, we live in Rockliffe which is the most dog-friendly neighbourhood in Ottawa! We also frequently take pets out on small hikes to explore the nearby parks if their parents are up for it and want their pets to have a vacation as well 

As a perk - you can put in a special request for some A+ photos as well of your pets as both of us have a knack for photography  

Your pet stays in a home, free to roam and explore, rather than in the confines of a 3-foot cage typical in kennels or pet hotels. 

Grooming, Feeding, Cooking, Walking, Basic Training, Playing and administering basic medication - these are things I pride myself on being good with our four-legged friends. My experience stems from raising 15 dogs myself back in my home country, which includes 8 German Shepherds and 2 Pomeranians apart from the others. I have also adopted 5 other dogs who I have cared for since they were puppies as well. I'd like to say, I know the habits of quite a varied range of breeds.

My partner and I have flexible work-from-home jobs, so depending on if we have rover pets over we work from home or head to the office. We prefer to be home and not leave your pets at home alone in a new environment even if it is just for a bit, as we know how stressful it can be. We’d only accept a booking if we can be present throughout their stay 
Although have not professionally before - I am looking to pursue professional experience in dog training, grooming and care as a new career choice and this would be a stepping stone into it.&nbsp;

We live in Rockliffe - the most dog-friendly neighbourhood in Ottawa! With many parks and two off-leash fenced parks as well in the area, there is no shortage of fun walks or socializing opportunities for your pet depending on their personality! We live in an apartment but have built the space in our home to keep it open concept and have a nice big ( safely fenced ) balcony as well, where a lot of our pet guests loved lazing in amongst our many many pet-safe plants 

Our apartment has easily and comfortably accommodated 2 dogs, and we would not board more than 2 at a time for their comfort. Giving your pet much-deserved attention while you are away is our priority.

We are very active folks so your pets are guaranteed walks/visits to parks depending on their energy levels and social skills.

1) How social is your dog? Do they get along with other dogs and cats?
2) Any specific feeding instructions?
3) Is your pet comfortable at home alone for small stretches of time? If so, for how long?

7) Is your pet fully vaccinated?
8) Free from diseases ( Kennel cough, Fleas, Parasites, etc)

Hello, Leaving for vacation? I am a realiable dog and cat loving person, happy to take care of your pets. I live in the house in lower town, with no kids or other animals. There is a beautiful McDonald Gardens park just a minute walking distance from here. We have close access to river pathways as well. I owned a cat for 10 years, but after moving to Ottawa she stayed with my ex. I have experience with small dogs and cats sitting for my friends. I offer dog walking, dog sitting and cats care. I love furry friends, but can't have my own due to frequent travelling. Your pet will be spoiled with me.

Hello pet-owners! We are a young couple who loves dogs and have a lot of experience taking care of them. We also have taken care of cats, both in their own homes and our home.The reason we would like to do more dogsitting is because it turns out to go extremely well together with our dog. Even the more shy or dominant ones tend to lift up when being around her. She never causes any problems with other animals since she is small and rather submissive. Therefore we even see it as an advantage to take care of dogs together with our own one. Of course, in some cases this turns out to be impossible, in that case it is also possible to take care of your dog seperately (we're with two). Enough about our dog, let's say something about ourselves.Currently we work mostly from home and we expect that to stay like that the coming future. We have sufficient free time and therefore like to spend as much as possible time outside and go for walks.When inside, we enjoy the company of the animals and they can be guaranteed of fulltime attention during the whole day. We both grew up taking care of animals like cats, rabbits and mainly dogs. Especially dogs always know how to steal our hearts so dogsitting always stayed part of our lives. We have watched over very different kinds of dogs, from big labradors to small maltezers and everything in between. Reliable and loving pet walker. I've taken care of dogs and cats since my childhood. I have a lot of experience with my pets - almost every period of my life I had dogs or/and cats. Today I'm the loving owner of nice and adorable beagle girl (vaccinated and sterilised). She loves jogging with me in the mornings. I've often pet-sitting for friends and relatives.I've got Pet First Aid certificate from St. John Ambulance. I have first aid kit for pet in my car.I'm currently walking a couple of dogs in weekdays, so I have a lot of time windows throughout the day. I can jump-in by my car almost at any location in Ottawa, Nepean etc. I am pretty active and love different weather.The pet safety is my #1 priority. Dogs will be always on leash during walks and only dogs from the same household will be walked at one time. I grew up always having pets around and appreciate how much joy and purpose they bring into our lives. As a child, my family had a dog, two cats, 5 birds, and many fish over the years. My own cat just turned 14 and always puts a smile on my face with her playfulness :) My dog (no longer with me) was a rescue from Mexico and we had to work hard to get over reactivity/leash agression, and learn to socialize with other dogs and strangers. Consitency is the key and it was so worth it! If you are training and have special instructions, I will be sure to follow them.
I have looked after many friends' pets and I am happy to help out with your fur pals. Give yourself some peace of mind knowing that they will be cared for as one of my own.
I am available for dog walking and home visits. I can do up to 2 walks per day, up to 30 mins each. I am happy to assist with training while on walks, if there are certain commands you are working on. I can also help with grooming and administering oral medication, if needed. I work remotely and my schedule is flexible.


I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals, particularly dogs! Currently, I’m the proud guardian of two wonderful dogs: a Golden Retriever and a rescue dog from my home country. My journey with animals started when I was twelve, caring for not just dogs but also cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. Any family pet always seemed to end up under my wing, where I handled everything from feeding to exercise and enrichment.
As I grew older, I sought to deepen my understanding of proper care by diving into books like Canine Enrichment for the Real World by Annie Bender and Emily Strong, and The Forever Dog by Ronnie Habib and Dr. Karen Becker. I strongly believe in letting dogs be dogs, with the right guidance to help them thrive. My rescue dog, who battles anxiety, has taught me invaluable lessons about patience and communication. She’s made remarkable progress with my support, and I’ve learned so much about how dogs express themselves and navigate their feelings.
As an international student who moved here with my dogs, I’m excited to be a dog walker and get to know the local community. Walking different dogs will not only help me meet more people but also allow me to learn about new canine personalities. My goal is always to build meaningful relationships with the animals I care for, and I look forward to meeting and walking more dogs!
