I will continue the routine your dog is used to. Walk and feed the dog at the same time every day. When you continue the routine your dog is used to having, your dog will experience less stress when you are way. Routine is extremely important for dogs and helps reduce the stress of having the owner gone.
I offer housesitting and dog walking service. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs, so I walk for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on how energetic the dog is and how much exercise it needs. I can water plants if required for housesitting.

My family and I have always had cats. The cat I grew up with was more of a sibling than a pet, and my current cats are my children. I've had many a cat friend (and occasionally got along with them better than with their humans!), and in social situations, I dedicate as long to my friends' pets as I do to my friends themselves. I've trained my cats to do tricks, walk on a leash, and I brush their teeth daily.

Please make sure to let me know ahead of time if your cats have any preference, special needs, or particular behaviours that I should be aware of; I should be able to accommodate most of these. For instance, I can mix different types of food, adding some water to their food, heating it when it comes out of the fridge, adding supplements/medicine, etc. In some cases, I may also be able to trim claws, clean ears, and the like, if your cat is particularly friendly, too! I have experience administering medicine (pills, liquid medicine injected orally, inhaler, etc.).


I have adored all animals since I was a kid, growing up on a farm I cared for horses, cows, Chickens, pigs, goats and many dogs. As I got older the connection I felt to animals grew stronger and I found myself dreaming about caring for them on a regular basis.&nbsp;In 2018 I worked with Rescue Paws Thailand for 7 months to help control the population of stray dogs, I couldn't be more grateful for this experience as this is where I met my bestfriend Chazzy, (my dog) who is a special part of our family now.Today I have 2 animals of my own, a doggo and bunny. Howdy! My name is Vanessa, I moved to Calgary in May 2022. I love the mountains, road trips, camping&nbsp; and outdoor activies. I live in Bankview with my boyfriend and our senior citizen dog. Her name is Lili, she's a 14 years old chihuahua-daschund. I have always loved animals and have had a few growing up, cats, hamster, rabbit and dogs.
Me and my boyfriend started cat sitting our neighbor's adorable 3 cats. We loved going there to feed them, play with them, hangout for a bit and clean their litter boxes. She moved away and we miss hanging out with the cats and taking care of them! That's why I decided to become a pet sitter with Pawshake.
