I have grown up with cats my entire life, and love taking care of them, whether they be my own pets, or foster cats and kittens through local shelters. I am comfortable playing, feeding, grooming, and caring for cats in all aspects, including administering any medication or special care they may require.&nbsp;
As cats are most comfortable in the places they are familiar with, I will take the time to travel to your home, to meet them in their space. I am good with both young, rambunctious cats, and older, more cautious ones. I have some experience with extremely young kittens under the age of the eight weeks, and also with elderly cats at the end of their lifespan.&nbsp;
I am less familiar with dogs, but am willing to take the time to meet them and learn about their care needs if you own both cats and dog in the same home.&nbsp;

My name is Brittney. In April 2021, I graduated from University of Calgary by completing my after-degree in Education. I have recently earned a continuous full-time teaching contract with the CBE. I will be teaching Grade 1 in NE Calgary for the 2024-2025 school year. One of my interests includes swimming as I used to be a competitive swimmer and coached for a number of years. My other interests include yoga and reading. I also love to travel, so I understand the need to have peace of mind when going away and leaving a pet behind. I had a dog as a kid, however my main passion is cats. I have always wanted a cat since I was a kid, but my parents were allergic. About 7 years ago, I finally adopted a cat with my boyfriend from the Central Alberta Humane Society in Red Deer before moving to Calgary. She unfortunately passed away in early August. We adopted a cat at the end of October 2024, naming her Honey. We are so happy to have a cat in our lives again!
Services that I offer include visits for your cat. I am located in central SW Calgary, so I am able to offer single home visits within a reasonable distance of the central SW area. I offer double day visits for the included areas: Rosscarock, Wildwood, Strathcona Park, Killarney, Glenbrook, Signal Hill, Glamorgan, South Calgary areas. Since I am working in the NE during the school year (just off Memorial), I would be open to providing services in that area as well. If you are questioning whether or not I offer services in your area, feel free to shoot me a message and we can figure things out! My home visits will be a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour. During my home visit, I will provide fresh water and food, clean litter boxes, and of course give your kitty some love! With my busy work as a teacher, I only offer single visits during the week. Weekday single visits will occur around supper time/after school hours. On weekends that I am available, I offer 2x visits as well as single visits; however, will only be taking 1 booking at a time during the school year. With my experience of having a cat of my own, I am confident I can provide the care that your cat needs while you are away. Hello Fur Friendly Families!
Since 1993, I live in a well maintained two storey house with a walkout basement in Arbour Lake NW. The house has central air conditioning, and the yard is fully fenced, with a park close by for walks.&nbsp;
I am 60 and the house is smoke free, children free, and cat free.&nbsp;
I have been a "Mini Schnauzer Mama" since 1992, and absolutely love the breed, and their varying personalities. Several years ago, I had "schnauzer twins", a boy, and a girl. Sadly, they were both diabetic, and required twice daily insulin injections. I have medical training, and both my "babies", and I were able to easily contend with their injections. They both eventually became blind, and I became their "seeing eye master". We continued to have a happy life until, sadly, it was time for their trip over the Rainbow Bridge.
Suzie was my next furbaby; she passed away in 2018 a couple weeks before her 13th birthday. She was a beautiful, energetic girl, and everyday with her was an adventure!
In 2019, we adopted Mazie. She is definitely the princess "of the castle". She loves lounging on the couches, and loves to sleep on the bed, covered with her own tiny blanket. Fresh cold water is always available for her.
I would welcome the opportunity to host guest mini schnauzers, and other fur babies that are 15 pounds or less. Please note all visitors must be neutered/spade, and vaccinations must be up to date. Please be assured that your furbabies will be well looked after. I do not take more than one booking for any given period. I am very conscientious about leaving my girl home alone; therefore, I am usually at home with the exception of occasional errands, and appointments.


Hello, my name is Aileen, and together with my partner Oliver I am staying in Calgary (Tuscany) until the end of February. We both love dogs and dream of having our own one day.
We both enjoy being outdoors, going hiking, and spending time in nature — and sharing these experiences with a dog makes it even more enjoyable for us. During our time here we are very flexible and would be absolutely happy to spend time with a dog, going for walks, playing, and simply enjoying great moments together.
We are originally from Germany, where we already enjoyed taking care of dogs. Here in Canada, we have also gained experience through several weeks of housesitting with dogs.
