Dog Lover! Experienced dog sitter/walker of all shapes and sizes. Hi my name is Josh and I'm 29 from Ireland originally. Absolutely love animals in particular dogs. Have lots of experience in walking/sitting dogs. Have also fostered dogs in the past when I have had the time to fully look after them. My first foster was a street dog rescued from the streets of Qatar named Malt. I learned a lot from fostering Malt as he was the first dog I had ever looked after which suffered from anxiety from past traumas from living on the streets. Juno ,a 12 week old border collie cross was my most recent foster from a local rescue center in Vancouver. I absolutely adore dogs and have done since a very young age. I joined Pawshake because I very much miss my little jack russell back home and think it's a great way to get to engage with dogs regularly while I'm away from home. I live in a shared house with my girlfriend and 2 roommates, who all love dogs. We have a fully fenced in back garden which ideal in the summer but can get a little boggy in the winter.

Accompanying and taking care of pets is one of the things I enjoy the most, that's why it motivates me to be a pet sitter. I love to give love, attention and care to animals, and I feel very lucky to be able to do it.

I have experience in taking care of dogs, cats and even birds. I have had pets all my life (3 dogs and 3 cats) and I have taken care of the pets of friends and family on several occasions.

As for vaccines, I think it is important for pets to be up to date with their vaccines to make sure they are healthy and do not transmit diseases. However, I also understand that some pets may have medical restrictions that prevent them from receiving certain vaccines. In those cases, I make sure to take the necessary precautions to guarantee the health and safety of all the pets in my care.
