Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Streetsville home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Streetsville.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Streetsville home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello! My name is Matthew, and I am your perfect "For hire cat dude"!. I am an all-around animal lover and come from a family of many pets. I have a great deal of hands-on experience with many animals such as fish, ferrets, pigs, goats, and of course cats and dogs!. I can offer in-home visits for your animals either once or twice a day. During the visits I will be keeping your pets fed, hydrated entertained and stimulated. I can also administer medications depending on the specifics. I can also do house sitting if your home or pets need more attention and care. I am very flexible when it comes to house sitting tasks, and I will also be offering dog walking in the coming future. Whether you find yourself on vacation, out of town or maybe stuck at work you can call me to care for your pets and your home.I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Hello furry families! my name is Sofia, and I’m a reliable and compassionate pet sitter who truly enjoys caring for animals and creating a safe, loving environment for them while their owners are away.I offer a range of pet-sitting services, including feeding, fresh water refills, walks, playtime, companionship, litter box or clean-ups, and I am always happy to follow any specific routines or care instructions provided by you. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I always aim to maintain their normal schedules and comfort levels. If you choose to leave your pet at my care at my home then I make sure any hazardous material or item is safely stored away, no food laying around, and everything is pet safe. I have experience caring for animals in both home and shelter environments. I’ve worked at animal shelters, where I assisted with feeding, cleaning, enrichment activities, and helping animals feel calm and secure. In addition, I’ve regularly cared for pets belonging to family members and friends, providing daily walks, playtime, and general care. These experiences have helped me become attentive to different pet personalities, energy levels, and individual needs.I am patient, responsible, and observant, and I take pride in making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and building trust with them, whether that means energetic play or quiet companionship. In terms of availability, I currently have flexible availability and can dedicate quality time and attention to pets throughout the day, as well as nights if needed they can stay with me. This allows me to be reliable with visits, walks, and extended care, and to adjust to each pet’s needs.I treat every pet as if they were my own and aim to give owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring, capable hands.

Your pets deserve more than just care—they deserve love, comfort, attention, and a true sense of family. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have grown up caring for many different pets with patience, responsibility, and devotion.
At home, I’ve personally cared for two German Shepherds, a Shih Tzu, parrots, budgie birds, and fish. This hands‑on experience has helped me understand the very different needs of large and small animals, energetic and calm personalities, and species that require specialized routines. Whether it’s an active dog that needs structured exercise or a gentle bird that thrives with calm companionship, I adapt my care to suit each pet’s unique temperament.
Daily care with me includes quality time throughout the day—not quick check‑ins.Dogs receive structured walks of 30–60 minutes, depending on their energy level, along with playtime, mental stimulation, enrichment activities, and proper rest. All pets follow their usual feeding schedules, routines, and house rules exactly as requested to help them feel comfortable and secure.
Availability:
Weekdays: Available after 5:00 PM, with evening and overnight care options
Weekends: Available all day and night, including boarding, daycare, and overnight stays
This schedule allows me to dedicate focused, uninterrupted time to your pets. Pets are rarely left alone, and if I do need to step out briefly, it’s only for short periods and never without ensuring your pet is safe, comfortable, and settled.
I’m highly attentive to signs of stress, anxiety, or discomfort and adjust care accordingly—whether that means extra play for energetic pets, calm one‑on‑one time for shy animals, or reassurance for pets that miss home. Emotional well‑being is always a top priority.
For boarding and daycare, pets stay in a clean, calm, pet‑friendly home environment with plenty of space to rest, play, and feel secure. I carefully manage supervision and can separate pets as needed based on size, personality, or comfort level. Regular updates can also be provided so you feel connected while your pet is in my care.
In case of any emergency, I remain calm, responsible, and communicative. I follow your instructions closely, contact you immediately, and can reach a nearby vet if required. Your pet’s safety and health always come first.
I treat every pet as if they were my own—ensuring they feel safe, happy, and genuinely loved at all times. From walks and feeding to companionship and routine care, your pet will receive the same respect and affection I give my own animals.
When your pet is with me, you can have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in experienced, attentive, and loving hands. ️

Hey there! I'm Laura and I've loved and had cats almost my whole life. Previoulsy, I've also fostered and volunteered with various animal rescues so between it all, I have lots of experience taking care of kitties at all life stages and with all kinds of temperments and quirky behaviours.
I had three cats for about twelve years and currently have two, so don't worry if you're multi-cat household - I'm well used to wrangling small furry herds, including and especially those extra finnicky seniors and their various health conditions. ;)
I decided to start offering sitting services because I know that worry of leaving your pets in someone else's care and my hope is that you will feel a little less worried when they're in my hands. I believe I have a pretty high standard of care as well which will make both you and your pet happier with my service.
I'm located around Old Mill and prefer sticking around here or the very adjacent neighbourhoods of the Kingsway or Bloor West Village.
Standard terms: Visits will be at least 30 minutes, including food, water, scooping the litter, and cleaning up any "surprise" messes your darlings have created. I'm comfortable and have experience with giving oral (pills/liquids) medications and subcutaneous injections for diabetic cats. Sorry, no experience with intravenous injections so I'm unable to provide those. I'm also happy to help with other small tasks such as watering plants or bringing in your mail too.

Dog walking, pet sitting, drop insHi! I’m a passionate dog lover based in Mississauga with real hands-on experience caring for my own Shih Tzu, Romeo. I’ve raised him since he was a pup, and through that journey, I’ve developed a deep understanding of dog behavior, needs, and communication. I’ve personally trained Romeo in basic obedience and leash manners, and we enjoy daily walks together, rain or shine.Spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, and I understand how important it is for pet owners to have someone trustworthy and caring to look after their furry friends. I’m responsible, attentive, and treat every dog with patience, kindness, and respect—just like I do with my own.Whether it’s a quick walk or spending some time keeping your dog company, I’ll ensure your pup feels comfortable, safe, and loved. You can count on me to be reliable and give your dog the attention they deserve.

I must have been a cat in my previous life...how else would Ibe able to understand them so well, and be so intuitive towards their wants andneeds?
Everything about them fascinates me. I adore them for theirattitude, looks and personality. I love their grace, their selective affection, their reserved intelligence, and most of all their pride. Ever since I was alittle girl I loved cats, and I jumped at every opportunity to be around themand oh, they loved me back. Even the stray cats (during travels) were quick toapproach and offer some trust.
My three adult kids all have cats, and I love to visit, and playwith them. However, with their busy lives I don't get to do that very often.
Now, while my professional carrier doesn't keep me busy anymore,I have some time on my hands. So, I thought I would love to do some cat sitting, and have their positive vibes rub on me, and offer the same in exchange. I'dlike to explore the possibilities of getting to know different cats, with theirdifferent personalities, and to keep them company while their own"parents" are absent.
This is a very rare opportunity for YOU to provide the best possiblecare for your cat/s while you can't be there for them. I am a very reliable, responsible, and clean person, with very high standards in everything that Ido.
I offer to take care of your loved ones in your home, so they can be as comfortable as they can be in their ownsurroundings.
I can assure you that your cats will be in the best hands, and under the best care. You can ask them after I am gone. I am sure they loved it :))

As a devoted dog mom with a wonderful dog dad, our lives revolve around our beloved fur babies. After the heartbreaking loss of our boy Charlie, a black lab and border-collie mix who brought us joy for 16 wonderful years, we decided to share our love and care with other dogs. We have a sweet and sassy German Shepherd-Husky named Girlfriend, who keeps us on our toes with her playful spirit. Understanding that some dogs prefer solitude, we offer house-sitting alongside dog-sitting to ensure your fur baby is comfortable and happy. We are committed to providing a safe and loving environment, so we require that all dogs we care for are vaccinated for rabies.

We are very flexible with our schedule, usually available for house sitting after 12 PM, but can arrange a time that best suits you. We also offer additional services such as bathing and grooming for $40, including brushing, drying, and applying coconut oil to their paws and face. We can administer oral medication and are well-versed in emergency first aid procedures from caring for our own dogs and house-sitting dogs. We’d love to meet your precious pup, learn about their unique personality, and see if we can provide the perfect loving environment for them. Whether it's playtime, cuddles, or just being there when you can't, we’re here to make your dog feel cherished and secure.
