Becoming a pet sitter allows me to turn my passion for animals into something meaningful by providing reliable and loving care for every pet I meet ️.&nbsp;I have had dogs my entire life, including a beautiful Schnauzer and a Husky in my home country. Growing up with them helped me develop a strong understanding of dogs’ behavior, needs, and personalities, and it naturally shaped my love and patience for animals 🥹.I understand how important pets are as part of the family, and my goal is to give them the same care, patience, and attention they receive from their owners. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, and specific needs so they can feel relaxed and secure.I offer dog walking, home visits, and house sitting services. My walks are typically 30 minutes, and I adjust the pace and activity level depending on each dog's needs. During home visits, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, are exercised, and receive companionship and attention.&nbsp;For house sitting, I stay in the owner's home and follow the pet's routine closely. Pets are typically not left alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time, depending on their needs. I provide a calm and consistent environment so they feel safe and comfortable .I have a flexible daily schedule, which allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, visits, and overnight care. I can also assist with basic training reinforcement such as simple commands, routines, and positive behavior. I am attentive to pets with different temperaments and can accommodate specific needs when discussed in advance.In case of any emergency, I will follow the owner's instructions and contact them immediately, and I am attentive to any changes in a pet's behavior or health.I also have a friendly and well-socialized 5-month-old Golden Retriever, which has helped me become even more attentive to dogs’ behavior, needs, and communication.Although I am new to Pawshake, I have experience caring for pets of friends and family, including feeding, walking, and providing companionship. For everyone’s safety and well-being, I only care for vaccinated pets.My goal is to make sure both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease. Hi! My name is Andres, and I’ve worked in the animal field for over 10 years, and it’s honestly something I truly love doing. I treat every dog like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, so I focus on keeping a calm, clean, and loving environment at all times. Whether your dog loves playtime, cuddles, or just a quiet place to relax, I make sure their stay feels like a home away from home.
Because of this background, I’m confident working with all breeds, all sizes, and pets who may need extra patience, structure, or understanding. I treat every animal like they’re my own
 Our days usually start with a nice walk along a nearby trail so the dogs can get fresh air, explore, and burn off some energy. After that, we keep things calm with proper nap time and downtime so everyone can relax and recharge. I stick to a balanced routine of walks, play, meals, and rest, adjusting to each dog’s needs. One thing that makes my care a bit different is that I don’t rush the day — I pay attention to what each dog is telling me and keep things low-stress, structured, and comfortable.

I have always had an immense love for dogs, and have taken care of friends dogs, walked them and boarded them many times over the years and the dogs have grown attached to me as well! I look forward to looking after your precious one too!I currently work on a hybrid model, so I can have boarded dogs for certain days and most weekends are fine as well. I am unavailable from Tuesday evening to Thursday evening for boarding as I go to the office on those days.I have a safe and secure home in a great neighborhood, surrounded by parks and I live by the lake, so the beach is a 2 minute drive which is next to a giant dog park. I live on the ground floor apartment so I can always take the dog out as needed for pee breaks etc.I love keeping pets engaged and happy! For dogs, I usually plan fun activities like daily walks in the park, playing fetch and if they are comfortable, doggie dates. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys and creating a cozy environment for them to explore. I always tailor activities to each pet's personality and energy level, ensuring they have a great time while feeling safe and cared for.

My Mom's family dog, a white Spitz, watched over me when I was born. Since this christening, I have grown up with dogs for a major part of my life and been comfortable around them, and these experiences have taught me and moulded me into a pet-appreciative person and a creature-friendly human. It was quite a task for my parents to keep my sisters and me away from stray pups, but I guess we were motivated enough to find a way to sneak them in.Animals do teach us a lot in their own ways, and with a bit of my parents' wisdom, I have grown to be more understanding, observant, respectful and appreciative of the little, and big, creatures.I have trained two dogs myself - a Doberman Pinscher and a Dalmatian, and owned and cared for a baby Olive Ridley Turtle I found on a pavement once. They have always felt at ease being around me. I had trained our family Dalmatian well enough that he had excellent recall and obedience training. The results have motivated me to continue working with pets. It is a challenging job training and caring for pets, but with patience and determination for fuel, one can rack up an impressive mileage with happy paws and tails in the backseat.


Hey there! I'm Laura and I've loved and had cats almost my whole life. Previoulsy, I've also fostered and volunteered with various animal rescues so between it all, I have lots of experience taking care of kitties at all life stages and with all kinds of temperments and quirky behaviours.
I had three cats for about twelve years and currently have two, so don't worry if you're multi-cat household - I'm well used to wrangling small furry herds, including and especially those extra finnicky seniors and their various health conditions. ;)&nbsp;&nbsp;
I decided to start offering sitting services because I know that worry of leaving your pets in someone else's care and my hope is that you will feel a little less worried when they're in my hands. Standard terms: Visits will be at least 30 minutes, including food, water, scooping the litter, and cleaning up any "surprise" messes your darlings have created. I'm comfortable and have experience with giving oral (pills/liquids) medications and subcutaneous injections for diabetic cats. Sorry, no experience with intravenous injections so I'm unable to provide those. I'm also happy to help with other small tasks such as watering plants or bringing in your mail too.&nbsp;

As a devoted dog mom with a wonderful dog dad, our lives revolve around our beloved fur babies. After the heartbreaking loss of our boy Charlie, a black lab and border-collie mix who brought us joy for 16 wonderful years, we decided to share our love and care with other dogs. We have a sweet and sassy German Shepherd-Husky named Girlfriend, who keeps us on our toes with her playful spirit. Understanding that some dogs prefer solitude, we offer house-sitting alongside dog-sitting to ensure your fur baby is comfortable and happy. We are committed to providing a safe and loving environment, so we require that all dogs we care for are vaccinated for rabies.

We are very flexible with our schedule, usually available for house sitting after 12 PM, but can arrange a time that best suits you. We also offer additional services such as bathing and grooming for $40, including brushing, drying, and applying coconut oil to their paws and face. We can administer oral medication and are well-versed in emergency first aid procedures from caring for our own dogs and house-sitting dogs. We’d love to meet your precious pup, learn about their unique personality, and see if we can provide the perfect loving environment for them. Whether it's playtime, cuddles, or just being there when you can't, we’re here to make your dog feel cherished and secure.
