My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from a very personal place. I truly miss my dogs back home, I have six dogs, and being away from them while studying has been one of the hardest adjustments for me. Caring for animals has always been a meaningful part of my daily life, and pet sitting allows me to fill that space while doing something joyful, comforting, and purposeful in my spare time.
I want to help pet parents feel at ease knowing their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while they are away. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and my goal is to be a reliable and attentive sitter so owners don’t have to worry about their “babies” at home.
While I may not have formal experience as a professional pet sitter, I have extensive hands-on experience from caring for my own six dogs. I have always been responsible for preparing their food, giving medication when needed, brushing their fur, and making sure they are comfortable and happy. Weirdly enough, I even found joy in laying on the floor with them—something my dogs loved and something that reminded me how meaningful simple companionship can be.


I have been pet sitting full-ime since November 2023 and I have had great success building on my training skills and knowledge of animal behavior&nbsp; to provide the best care possible to every pet I meet. I will be traveling between Edmonton and Vancouver based on my stay schedule while I continue my online studies.
&nbsp;I currently volunteer at Zoeys Rescue in Edmonton doing puppy socializing in my free time, I have helped them with over 10 litters now from first interactions until they are ready to go to foster homes. I have learned a lot about caring for puppies, as well as new moms and its really rewarding to be a part of their organization.&nbsp;
I have had 3 other fur babies in my life, my dog Eddie, my cat Mercy and another dog Iggy. I loved them with all my heart while I had them. I understand every pet can have a different personality and its always my goal to tend to their needs as individuals. Whatever it takes to keep them happy and healthy I am ready to create the space for them to learn and thrive.&nbsp;
I am also happy to care for cats, fish, amphibians or any animal you call a friend. Any instructions you have for me I will follow to the letter and send lots of updates with great pictures of your best friends.
