Hello! I'm Kate, a university student currently at the University of Calgary. I had a previous pawshakes account, and the reviews are posted in the pictures. I have been dog sitting for about 2 years and I love it! I love animals, taking care of them, going for adventures and soaking up as much cuddle time as I can get. If you book with me you can be sure that your dog will be getting a lot of exercise, tons of playtime, attention and will be in perfectly safe hands. 
My services are only for overnight dog sitting. However once a client becomes regular I am open to other services as well. We will go for long walks, play, and sleep. I have experience training and grooming, and I absolutely love brushing dogs. 
Dogs and other animals fill up a big part of my life, since I am a student I cannot afford having any animals myself, and savour every moment I can get with them. I can promise you I will treat your animal(s) as my own, and I will make it my number one priority that they are living the best life they can when you are away. I'm an animal lover, any shapes sizes and colors, but my main love is for dogs and dog walking to get me and your fur baby out for an enjoyable walk. After I lost my Maltese Pepe at age 18 in 2018, I very much enjoyed engaging with my neighbors who entrusted me to take their fur baby out and escort me on my daily walks...or required care if their parents took a trip away or just needed to work late and couldn't get home to their pooch for dinner and a walk. I quickly became the go to person since I was retired and accessible most of the time. I should mention that Pepe became diabetic last 5 years of his life which required me to inject him daily with insulin. A little more about me.... I grew up on a farm and learned to love animals at a very young age. Cats, bunnies, dogs etc. I use to talk to them as a child. If you asked my sister she'd tell you I called the ants my friends! Who knew where the connection with animals would lead me. 
in my business I use the guidance our animals are always giving us as a way to help their humans live the life they were truly meant too.&nbsp;
Bailey and I love to go on adventures whether that be a stroll in the lark or taking a ride to the mountains. 
i start my mornings with a dog walk (weather permitting .... Eek winter!!). And I often take a walking break mid day or close to supper as a way to end the day. 
We do go off leash, but I am also open to taking any dog that needs to be on leash only. I work with the comfort of your pet. 
Walks are anywhere from 30 mins-60 mins at a time. At least twice a day. Depending on weather and animal comfort &amp; safety. 
Your animals will be safe and protected as if they are one of my very own. 
i take pictures and videos often and send them to you while you are away !
