Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Cantley home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Cantley.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Cantley home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Only CATS-Boarding !My profile:
As a veterinarian's daughter, I know how important it is to respect the animal's needs and understand its behavior. I always had animals growing up. I know how stressful it can be to entrust your pet with a stranger. I love playing with animals and making them happy. Being a petsitter is a fur-therapy and a service I am thrilled to provide.
I currently offer one/two home visits per day before/after my workday. I will accept your booking depending on your location. I offer boarding in my home as well. During my visit, I will feed your pet, clean litter, walk with it, and give your pet lots of love, updates, and photos. I always adapt to the pet's personality and needs. I work from home two days a week and from the office three days a week.
Tell me more about your pet if you want me to board them:
- Do you sleep with your cat?
- Should I remove some decorations, plants, or flowers?
- Any medical conditions or weird habits?
- Do they meow in the morning? If yes, around what time?
- Do they go on the table and/or the kitchen worktop?

What's Included:
- love, cuddles, attention of course
- games
- I’m able to administer medications, deal with medical issues and, familiar with signs of stress
- I will send you photos at the end of the day of the activities we will have done
About boarding.
For the comfort of the animal, bring some of their favorite toys, baskets or blankets.
- I usually do not sleep with the pet but they are ALLOWED on the bed, seats, and sofas (I have blankets for pets)
- complete cleaning of my interior after each care
- I do not require proof of vaccinations
- I live in an apartment with a big balcony. I do not allow the cat on the balcony, but I could go with them depending on your instructions, or put them on a leash (as I know some cats are trained for the balcony with a harness)
- I can take care of several pets at home, but only if they are from the same family!
- If your pet has never been petsitted, I could suggest you try one night before the booking.
Finally, if you have any other questions or inquiries, feel free to send me a message. It all depends on both your needs and the needs of your pet!
My requirements
I will require emergency contact numbers of your family members/friends/vet clinic in case of emergency (could do it on my own depending on if you gave me a crate and the kind of pet) Please reach out to me to discuss your pets' needs. I will be thrilled to discover and get to know your furry babies

Hi ! My name is Marina. I just graduated from a bachelor's in communications in Montreal, and I'm currently staying in Ottawa, although I travel to Montreal often.
Since very young, I have always loved animals very dearly.
I have 1 female cat who recently passed away, that my family and I had for about 15 years. We took her in as a pregnant stray, and adopted her and her 5 babies.
I love to petsit, not only because it is something I truly enjoy, but also because I have a good amount of free time and I thought it would be a nice idea to help out pet owners !
For experience, I took care of 2 adult akitas for the past year, walking them as well as occasional petsitting for extended periods of time. I also have recently done a bit of cat petsitting (feeding, playing with them, etc). In the past, I've taken care of my family cat, as well as her 5 kittens on my own, which can be challenging. I have also cared for 2 huskies for a couple of days a few times.
I am constantly around animals in my day to day, when I go back home or through friends, so I feel very comfortable. I am of course always open to learn and personalize the care and routine based on the pet, because I know every animal is very different.
Looking forward to working with you !

Hi, I'm Sarah!
I've always had a love for cats and thought pet sitting is a wonderful way for me to share that passion! I've been caring for cats and small animals for friends and family throughout my life and have been pet sitting regularly for the past two years.
As a cat owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet and your home. Every cat has their own unique personality and routine so I take the time to get to know their habits and any special needs so they feel comfortable and safe.
My Services Include:
Daily drop-in visits, Feeding and refreshing water, Litter box cleaning, Playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection, Oral medication administration, Light household tasks including watering plants, bringing in mail or packages, keeping pet areas tidy and Overnight and full-day house sitting.
During every visit, I'll send regular updates with photos, videos, and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
My schedule is flexible, so feel free to reach out! I'd love to meet you and give your cat the same love, patience, and care I give my own.

My name is Damien and if you’re searching for the right person to care for your pet, I’m the guy!

Rest assured, this is nothing new to me and your pet(s) are safe in my hands as I’ve done dog walking & pet sitting for quite sometime. There’s nothing more important than for you to know your pet(s) are safe & sound!

Every dog has their own boundaries that must be respected, and I wish to provide a safe and comfortable experience for them! I have experience with reactive dogs, senior dogs, and anxious dogs!

When walking your dog(s), you’ll never have to worry! I’ll be providing you with as much information as possible (& photos / videos) that let you know how your dog did!

I look forward to meeting your furbaby!
