I am familiar with administering oral and topical medication, and with following owners' instructions regarding food intake and preferences. I provide updates so you can enjoy your time away, knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. My approach is patient, respectful, and tailored to each pet’s personality, ensuring that they feel at home—even when you’re not.&nbsp;
I work virtually and set my own, part-time hours, so am always available to give your pet the care and attention they need throughout the day.

Hi! My name is Nicolas, I’m 29 years old and originally from France. I recently moved to Calgary, and even though I’m far from home, one thing that has always stayed constant in my life is my love for animals. I grew up surrounded by them at my parents’ home and also on my grandparents’ farm, so caring for dogs and cats has always felt natural to me. They’ve been part of my daily life since I was a kid, and I truly enjoy their company.

Now that I’m living in Calgary, I really miss having animals around, which is why I would love to spend time walking and caring for yours. I know how important regular walks and outdoor time are for dogs, not only for their physical health but also for their happiness and well-being. Hi, I'm Alison. I'm a lifelong animal lover. I have been drawn to animals since I was a kid, I find myself most comfortable in their presence. I have experience with cats (also kittens &amp; seniors), dogs (also puppies &amp; seniors), rats and ferrets. I'm mature, single and responsible. I am kind, patient and caring. I am devoted to my own dog, a perfect little rescue chihuahua named Sergio. We spend all of time together, taking long walks daily. We love the beach, the woods, the dog park and just sitting on the grass. We are looking to make new friends and connections through house sitting. I am currently located in Toronto but hoping to spend some time on the west coast and be closer to my brother and sister. Ideally, I'd like to escape Toronto winter as it is unpleasant for Sergio. I have great flexibility and an open schedule. I would love to care for your pets, garden and home.

I am available days or nights whether your pet requires walks several times a day or just goes out in the yards. Weekdays or weekends- longer stays or just a weekend are all possibilities. 
Because I am newly retired, my primary focus is the care and safety of your house and your animals. I will take care of things as if they were my own!
I am up to date in current methods of the care and feeding of cats and dogs! I can also care for iguanas, hedgehogs, ferrets and various other reptiles!
I love to play and cuddle with pets of all shapes and sizes. Discovering what makes a your creature “tick” is one of the most satisfying things about the human / pet connection. So many places in the Cowichan Valley to walk and discover. I look forward to being out and about with your fur baby…
I am ready and open to learn about any habits or quirks your pet may have…special diets, grooming needs or exercise patterns are all in my wheelhouse. I can also administer oral medication as needed. 
If I do in home drop in visits I can water plants or collect mail. 
Update

If possible I like to bring my super friendly dog Figg to stay with me during pet sits. This has worked in the past at sits in Mill Bay and in Port Alberni and other places on the island. We can always meet ahead of time to make sure this works out. Or if it's not possible I can leave her at home with my daughter.
