Hi there! We're Ellier and Kerv, a Chinese/Canadian-Peruvian couple that has been house-sitting across Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico and now in Canada. We love being around animals and having had a blast with all the house-sits we've done across the world.We started house-sitting in April 2022 with a 2.5 month house-sit in Panama where we took care of three dogs. The owners were worried about finding a sitter for their Italian Mastiff who is quite the alpha dog, but we had no problem taking care of him and developing a bond with him!Our next house-sit was in Costa Rica where we took care of two dogs and two cats. The owners called Kerv a dog whisperer because he trained them to go in the water at the beach - something the owners have wanted to do for ages!Then we did more house-sits across Mexico with various dogs and cats of all breeds and ages. And now we're in Canada, having completed a dog-sit in Montreal, and a couple more sits in Markham and Toronto.&nbsp;In all our house-sits, we sent frequent photos and videos to the owners and maintained contact throughout. My name is Rebecca. I took care of 2 lovely mongrels for the past 15 years and now am a cat mom of 2 gorgeous domestic shorthair. All of my pets are adopted from shelter. One of my dog used to have a liver issue and had been on medication for about 8 years before she passed. Therefore I have some experience in giving oral medications to dogs. Taking care of pets gives me a lot of achievement and comfort. If you know what I mean by just looking at them sleeping calmly or in a funny post will make your day and put a huge smile on your face.&nbsp;
Often when I go out and see someone walking a dog or sometimes a cat too, I will bless them and wish them a happy and healthy life. They mean this much to me. 
I am available for morning and evening walks or visits. If there's some simple chores like water plants and get the mail I'm glad to help. 
If giving a pooch a walk it would be around 30 mins. I will try to walk your dog to a park, always think grass is better than walking on cement pavements.
When house sitting is required, I could stay for an afternoon to keep the dog(s) or/and cat (s) company. And make sure windows and doors are locked. 

  I'm able to look after dogs that are under 25kg. Maximum 3 cats.
  Changing their water and cleaning up for them after their meals and walk. 
  If your pooch has a paw cleaning routine after each walk I'm happy to help too.

From a family dog while I was growing up to pet sitting in a number of different cities/countries, I’ve been responsible for plenty of cats and dogs over the years, and I’m excited to continue doing just that. I’ve been lucky enough to share spaces with animals both young and old, as well as large and small. Along with that, I’ve handled providing medications, IVs, special diets, and other unique requirements (such as taking care of elderly, blind animals) during a number of sits.

As a long time pet owner I believe no home is complete without a dog and no outfit is complete without some dog hair.I have shared my home with dogs all of my life and understand the challenge of finding 'just like home' pet care when you need to leave your treasured pets. For the past three years I have been taking dogs into my home and providing a loving and safe environment for them. I have a fully enclosed backyard for them to play in and they get the run of the house. I started taking care of pets as a favour to our friends and family, but found that it's very rewarding and was advised to do it as a profession.I have experience with administering oral medication and topical care, special diets, managing senior dogs, etc.I also recognize the need for some pets to stay comfortable and relaxed during separation and as a result have also provided 'stay at home' care. I visit the home multiple times a day to ensure the care and attention required is provided.While pets are with us, they become one of the family and are included in our daily activities. Of course, ultimately, you will choose the length per walk, and the frequencies of the walks and visits, etc.We have a very energetic and playful 9 year old dog who enjoys visiting guests ( small and big ones) ; she's a mixed of English Bulldog and Miniature Dachschund, and weighs 28lbs; so I would ask that your dog play well with others.I prefer to provide one-on-one attention , unless your family owns more than 1 dog/cat; I do not pack walk.We can provide pick up and drop off services at your convenience. Depending on the distance from your home to ours, there will be an additional, but reasonable small fee for the pick up and drop off services. In regard to home visits, there will also be an additional charge if the one way distance from your home to ours is more than 10kms.

Since I 'm building up my own business, most of the time I can stay in home.I want to become a pet sitter, because I 'm the one who tried to find a good and reliable pet sitter for my guinea pig son, I have extensive experiences for look after small animals, therefore I 'm willing to use this ability to take care the other pets, when the pets' owner need help. Since I was small, I pet guinea pigs, turtles, birds, hamsters, goldfishes, mini shrimps, chickens, ducks, frogs, and I responsible for their daily clean up, feeding, taking them to vet when they don't feeling well.
