All my life a grew up with over 50 pets from ducks, to all types of birds, hamsters, fish, cats and dogs. &nbsp;

I began my cat sitter and dog walker/sitter about 1 year ago when I replied to a public forum and began taking care of a cat for 6 weeks and walking my first two adorable dogs. The dogs owner started to tell everyone she knew about my dedication and how I treat her dogs and teach them commands. 
From there my business grew to walking over 12 dogs, sitting 5 dogs over a week to 3 months and take care of a cats. 
I honestly love all pets! I truly enjoy their excitement when your pets see me or my car!
I take pride in forming a bond with cats and dogs and it's so rewarding to me when they learn a new command or master one the owner is still working on. &nbsp;
I carry a supply of your pets treats with me and ensure my dog bag is also equipped with the treats each visit. I also discover their interest; for example, run the whole walk time, to chase birds, go on nature walks in a forest, go visit the pond, take different routes, walk to a pet store, be carried, go to a dog park. Whatever they want Itry to make it possible.&nbsp;
I focus on only the pets the owner has, that means your cat(s) or dog(s) is/are my focus. I will never be a dog walkers who takes various owners’ dogs at the same time. The only time I would have your pet(s) and another owners walk/sit is when are working on a skill related to comfort around other animals or the owners are related. . &nbsp;
I prefer vaccination, to ensure my own dog is protected. &nbsp;

My name is Laurence, I am 55 years old and I have just moved in your area with my husband and 2 cats. Having travelled around the world with my cats and 3 children, and having experienced myself the anguish of unexpected holidays or professional travel, I know how hard it can be to find peace of mind with my babies and my home. Passionate about cats, I have adopted all mine as strays or lost souls in every countries I have lived in. Rest assured your home and babies will be safe and truly loved. I know how to give medication, assess wellbeing and disconfort, and I am an expert in cat behaviour. Being a former lawyer, I am trustworthy and very punctual and I have high standards for home maintenance. I offer my services for your pets, home and plants maintenance during your holidays, trips long or short or just during your office work in case of sickness or concern. Of course, I would pick up your mail, take garbage out and keep your house alive. I would prefer to assist in my neighbourhood in Yonge/Eglinton or Lawrence area. My suggestion is to visit twice a day for 45 mn, morning and evening, as I know how lost cats can get without their family and to maintain a normal rythm for your babies. As I know how difficult it can be for parents too, regular photos and updates will be sent. I could also take your dog for an hour walk. Just try me!

I aim to take the worry away, going above and beyond to provide the same loving companionship your pet is used to, doing everything I can to ensure they are cared for and you can feel confident knowing they (and your home) are in good hands. Whether you need a cat sitter, dog sitter, dog walker, fish feeder, hamster pal, or bird buddy, I provide loving, responsible, considerate, and attentive care.
Home Visits: With each home visit, I will take care of feeding, changing water, cleaning litter, and cuddling/playing/spending quality time with your pet as they desire. My priority is always your pet but I am happy to take care of small tasks like bringing in mail and can water indoor plants upon request. Door to door, I set aside 1hr for each visit.
I try to keep the radius I serve to a max 15min of travel time each way to ensure a 30min minimum visit with your pet.
Dog Walking: I'll take your pooch on a 30min walk of their regular route, with play time and offleash running as agreed upon. Once home again, I'll feed/water them as per your needs.
Fine Print: Home visits rates include one dog or up to three cats. For additional animals or longer visits, please inqure. I serve the east end within the approximate borders of Main St to the east, River St to the west, Mortimer Ave to the north and Dundas St to the south.
About Me: I am a freelance dance artist and licensed wedding officiant originally from Cape Breton Island. I lived in the Riverdale area for 10 years; I now live / work between Prince Edward County and Toronto and with my partner James have a rather amazing cat named Sophie - we couldn't imagine our household without her! Over the years I have travelled a lot with my work and am used to being in and caring for other people's spaces as if they were my own. That goes double for their animals - I have shared space with and cared for numerous pets of varying ages and needs and am always so aware of how much more at home I feel when there is an animal around, no matter where in the world I may be. I have had cats for all four decades years of my life and grew up with two wonderful dogs - respect for and engagement with animals has always been a part of my life. I love to get to know new animal personalities and have a calm and open energy that puts animals - and humans :) - at ease.
