ABOUT ME:

My name is Chantal and I live on my own in a condo in Liberty Village. In my free time, you can usually find me at the lake, the gym, or hanging out with my cats watching their favourite nature shows. I love all animals, and have an especially soft spot in my heart for kitties. I have several years experience fostering and boarding cats and kittens. I started fostering after I adopted my first cat. I felt like I needed to "give back" in some way, and that's where it all started!

My biggest accomplishment thus far would be when I rescued a family of 4 kittens and their mama from behind a public housing unit. I took them all in, socialized them (including mama!) to the point where I could get them all adopted into loving homes. I specialize in the socialization of shy/semiferal cats, and improving behavioural issues. I aim to always see progress, but make sure the process is as stress-free as possible for the cats. I get a lot of satisfaction out of being able to give cats a loving home, where they can play, relax and socialize. I have adopted two cats of my own, both of which are friendly, well-socialized kitties. With that said, in order to be considered for boarding, your cats must be friendly with other cats.

MY SERVICES:

I offer cat boarding services out of my home in Liberty Village. Need your cat picked up and/or dropped off? No problem. I can accommodate for trips within the GTA. I work downtown, and spend roughly 10 hours/day out of the house for work. Outside of this, my schedule is fairly flexible. Your kitty can expect regular cuddles, pets and play sessions. I am the only human in my household (no roommates or partners), and live with my two cats.

As part of the integration process, I'll typically have a guest cat sleep in the bedroom with me for the first few nights and let my two cats sleep in the common area. This will allow your kitty to get comfortable with me, and slowly acclimate themselves to the other cats in the household. I have a fairly large balcony space attached to my home, but this space is typically only for humans, as the railing isn't very high. I do, however, have a cat hammock that overlooks the lake, and allows all kitties to watch the birds outside.
