About Chrissy

Hi there! I'm Chrissy, a freelance writer that lives in Toronto, ON. I have experiencing sitting on TrustedHouseSitters, and for friends and family. I'm most experienced with medium dogs but grew up with cats, too! I work from home so I have plenty of time to take your pooch on a long walk, or out for frequent potty breaks if needed. 

I live with my partner Johnny, and we have petsat together in the past. However, he does travel a lot for work so during those times when I'm alone, I especially love that quality time with animals. I can't imagine having a pet at home without letting them cuddle on the sofa or bed, so they're definitely allowed on the furniture. 

I do not have any pets right now, as my partner's travel schedule is a bit too hectic for us to make that long-term commitment.

Im happy to walk, feed, cuddle, board, and babysit your animals in my home or yours! I also habe a fully fenced patio with a little grass patch.

Chrissy looked after our Jasmine (7yr, 65lbs, rescue) for nearly a month over the Christmas period while we travelled to Australia.

She was so wonderful, kept us updated with photos from all their adventures, looked after Jas when she got an upset tummy, and generally loved her and kept her very happy while we were away.

Cannot recommend Chrissy more highly - absolutely perfect for us. 10/10!

I have tons of references that I could provide offline for medium to large dogs (especially Aussie shepherds), unfixed dogs, and even one deaf dog. I also recently sat a little kitten in Texas. Apart from those formal gigs, im always at my parents house loving our family pooch Piggy, or babysitting my aunt's golden doodle.
