I've had pets (cats and dogs) my entire life and loved every minute of it. I currently have my own sweet kitty, Figaro, who is still spry at 13 years old! I love him just as much as any human I’ve ever loved, and so I know how stressful it can be to leave your little creature at home while you go away. I'm happy to be able to provide reliable, caring service so that you can enjoy your time away without worrying about your baby. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t like me (even the grumpy ones warm to me eventually); I respect them as individuals and let them come to me when they're ready, rather than smothering them with pats and snuggles right away. I consider myself a very responsible, capable person--I’m a high school teacher during the day, so if I can handle my students’ attitudes, I can handle anything :)

I am available for dog walking and drop in visits for cats and dogs. I have experience caring for hamsters, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, giving medication, and—of course—providing lots of play and attention. I am happy to provide references for other animals I've cared for while owners were away.
