Karlee

Hello, my name is Karlee and I am a student through the university of Manitoba. I am studying to become a teacher. I am currently off of school for the summer so I have plenty of free time. I’ve cared for a variety of dog breeds everything from Teacup Pomeranians to Mastiffs. I’ve adopted a dog through the advanced dog owner program through the Winnipeg humane society. I have a lot of experience with dogs of all kinds. We've always had multiple animals as I was growing up and my dad was a lover of big dogs! I am available for dog walking. During our walk we will practice walking with a leash, as well as other tricks along the way. I am very good with large breed dogs and dogs that tend to pull. I have my own training leash which I will bring with if your dog is having trouble walking nicely on leash and it’s something we will work on throughout the walk. I typically see improvement after only a couple of walks. I've been averaging about 2km for a half an hour walk so we'll be getting plenty of excersize! Let me know how your dog behaves on walks, do they tend to pull, or jump/bark when they see other animals, should other dogs be avoided? Etc. Let me know if you do not have any required items for the walk i.e. collar, leash, poo bags. I am also available for drop in visits. Let me know if you have any questions!
