I am an animal lover and advocate and have volunteered at the BCSPCA for over 5 years and fostered many cats! I will take care of your pets as if they were my own! I don't have any pets at the moment but would love to one day. I offer overnight cat boarding and cat sitting in an apartment with lots of space. Your cat is welcome to walk around the aparment (and hide if they prefer). I provide litter boxes and bowls, will clean litter boxes often, feed according to your schedule and will let them approach me on their own time. I am good at reading cat behaviour and will interact with them however they prefer :)
I can house up to 3 cats from one family, or 2 cats from seperate families. In those cases, I will keep each cat in a seperate bedroom (large with windows!) and give them free time to roam around separately during the day and night.
Happy to have a video call with you before booking to discuss and I can show you the space :)
I am also comfortable administering oral medication and clipping nails if your cat will let me!
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. 7 days before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Emily is very professional and caring for my pets. My cat usually takes time to warm up with a new sitter, but Emily is very patient for my cat and gives lots of warm space for him.
Emily took amazing care of my cat Sam while I was abroad for close to a month. This was my first time using cat boarding services and Emily was very reassuring by inviting me to stay for an hour as we slowly introduced my cat to this new environment. Emily has a lovely place with a private room for my cat that has a large window for birdwatching, a brand new cat tree, and boxes and shelves for my cat to enjoy. Sam also had access to the rest of the apartment and spent plenty of time laying right by Emily on the couch and sleeping in the bed. It was clear from the many pictures and updates Emily shared that Sam felt very comfortable around her and enjoyed her company. As Sam has kidney disease, I also very much appreciated Emily's help with administering his oral medication on a daily basis and ensuring he was eating enough of his prescription food. I am thankful for Emily's help with taking care of Sam and would love to work with her again.
