I am a college student and now I am on my summer holiday, so I have a bunch of time. However, I do not plan to have a part-time job for money because that is meaningless and a waste of time. My goal is that I want to do something that I like and something I can learn from. I like animals since I was a child. Actually, I am always curious about them. I also want to get a part-time job in a zoo, but being a pet sitter is more practical and easier for a beginner. So, becoming a pet sitter sounds ideal. Also, since I am not able to have too many pets, this job brings me a chance to meet new pets and be their friend. I have 2 years of experience in taking care of puppies and kittens, and I am very interested in animals' body language, maybe because I am a psychology student, so I know what they want most of the time. Also, I would love to gain more knowledge about these cutties by this job. Unfortunately, I do not offer service in my home since I have a kitten and I worry that she will stress out meeting the unfamiliar pets. So I can only take pets outside, or I can look after them in the owner's home. My services will be dog walking and home visit once or twice per day. I am available every day from 2 pm to 8 pm, so I can work at the owner's house during these hours. I can also do training, grooming, and administering oral medication. And I can help to water the plants or bring in the mail or something like that. For dog walking, I usually do it at most 2 dogs at the same time and for at most an hour, but if the dogs do not have enough, I can play with them for about a half-hour. I usually choose to walk dogs at parks or somewhere with few people around but a big and safe space.
