I am an active retiree, looking to enhance my days with fun activities involving dogs. I moved back to BC two years ago after living in Alberta for close to 20 years. I sold my house there and am now renting, so I cannot sit in my current living situation. I worked for many years as a bookkeeper, but have always spent time working with dogs. I have extensive experience as a trainer and therapy dog evaluator for both the SPCA and SJA. In the past I have volunteered for a rescue organization and have fostered many puppies. I have also completed a pet first aid course 20 years ago in San Diego. I love all animals and treat them with the respect they deserve as our companions on this planet. I believe that positive reinforcement is they way to gain mutual trust. 

I understand that leaving a pet behind can be stressful for you and your pet, even if it is just for the day. I offer midday dog visits and dog walking services, all customized to you and your pet's needs. These visits are a wonderful solution for dog owners with a busy schedule or long working days.

I will feed your animals if needed, let them out or take them for a walk. I will be able to water your plants and bring in the mail if required. 

I can offer 1/2 hour or one hour walks. Your dog needs to be comfortable around other dogs as my Super friendly Labradoodle will be accompanying me. I do not take my dogs to busy dog parks but prefer fun times in our many parks. If you prefer I will take your dog for walks in your neighborhood. I won't be walking more than two dogs at a time. 

I am able to administer medication if needed and can also offer training on your request. I am available mornings and afternoons during the week and on weekends.
