Hello! My name is MJ. I am originally from South Korea and have been living in Canada for almost 8 years. Now I call this country my home :) 

I am currently working as a nutritional scientist/project manager for the nutritional product company. I have joined Pawshake because, I love animals! and I want to assist people who need someone to walk their dogs and take care of them when they are unavailable. 

In the past, I have had my own dog and cat, and I recall the urgency of finding someone reliable to care for them. It was not easy leaving my pets with strangers 😔 I completely understand your concerns and hope that you can trust me. I will do my best to ensure your pets feel comfortable and happy in my care.

Usually, I am available in the evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends. However, since I work remotely nowadays, my schedule is quite flexible. So please feel free to reach out to me anytime.

Following is the details of the services I offer:

- Dog walking: Each walk lasts for one hour. I live in the Joyce-Collingwood area, and for dog walking, I can take your dog to Central Park, Trout Lake Path, or other small parks in the neighborhood. However, my services are not limited to my area. Let me know where you live, and I will happily come to you 🚗.

- Home visits (both dogs and cats): Each visit is an hour long, and includes feeding, cleaning 💩,  playing, grooming, and teeth brushing. During my visit, I will take a photo/video of your pets and send them to you so that you can see how they are doing. 

- I prefer meeting up or having a quick video call, before you decide whether you will book with me. I want to make sure you will feel comfortable to leave your pet with me, so please feel free let me know whichever works for you 😃

- Language available: English, Korean, and Japanese

My previous dog was a Sheltie (Shetland Sheepdog) which had lots of energy. I enjoyed playing with him and taking him for runs. I can even teach dogs small tricks like sitting and shaking paws. I also love playing with balls and engaging in some activities with dogs in the park. As for cats, we all know they have their own unique personalities;) I will give them space and patiently wait until they feel comfortable approaching me. I believe that I have a good understanding of the different personalities of dogs and cats.
