Upbeat and energetic gal looking to care for your fluffy best mates! I’m very outdoorsy, and am always happy to take your pets on adventures if interested. I have an SUV, and am active, so long walks and hikes, or short ones, are totally fine by me. I make my own schedule so I am totally flexible, punctual and dependent.

I’ve had cats all my life (currently have three). My parents never wanted a dog growing up, and I haven’t had the space yet for a dog, but have developed close relationships with the dogs in my life. I love all animals very much and make connections easily, with patience, positivity, and nurturing of good behaviour. I’m also very tidy and organized. I have a car and am happy to drive for longer walks! I've been dog walking for over a year with all types, as well as cat sitting. It brings me a lot of joy!

A bit about me other than animal-related content: I am a fashion designer with a BA from Toronto, and an MA from London, UK, and now have a studio space here in Ottawa, where I am from. I work from home some days, and work at my studio some days. I make my own schedule and am flexible. I don’t work on weekends, so my availability is more open. For fun, I cycle, hike, run, sail, snowboard, and am an avid plant lover.

Information about my services:

- Boarding: I can board 1 dog at a time, and no cats, due to the 3 (friendly) cats already in my home. I have a 2 bedroom townhome-style apartment with 2 balconies, very close to the river pathway, and I live here with my partner who is also experienced with dogs. My availability for boarding (being able to commit to not leaving your pet alone for more than 3 hours) would depend on my schedule and workload (whether I’ll be working from home), so please reach out so we can see if this would work. :)

- Walking: My walks are a half hour and I can take a maximum of two dogs at once. I am happy to do a one hour walk for an increased rate of $40, and $30 for a second dog. For a one hour walk, I am happy to drive your dog(s) nearby to a bigger path/forest/dog park to your/their liking. I can do 1 walk a day per client (currently walking two other dogs once a day). I do not have medical experience with pets, but am able to bring your pet to a vet if there is an emergency in my car. I have some experience training puppies and younger dogs, so I would work on good behaviours, but am not a professional (have not been trained to do so, but educate myself/work through my experience).

- At-home visits: I will visit your pet(s) to take care of whatever they need (feeding, water, litter, playing, etc.) and my rate is for a half hour. If your pet needs medication in their food, or to be administered orally, I have experience with this and would be happy to, but not by injection.
