Hello there!
I'm a BIG animal lover, an undergrad student at uwo and hopefully a vet one day! I currently have a cat Dusty so will only be offering walking and home visits as Dusty wants to be the only cat in the house!
I've been a petsitter for Pawshake for over 4 years and I've fostered a senior rescue dog, Nick. It was a great experience taking care of him and seeing him get healthier and better until he found his forever home. I have fostered 3 cats and ended up adopting one. Also, I am working as an animal caretaker so I'll be able to report on any abnormalities and notify you before anything gets serious. In general, I'm comfortable with pets and am sure that they will have a great time at my place or when I come to visit them!

Mai was wonderful with our dog! She was very accommodating as we needed a last minute booking. Mica was so happy when we picked her up we know she had a great time! Mai kindly sent us updates on how Mica was doing as well as pictures. We recommend Mai to anyone as she was great.
Mai took care of my 11 month puppy this weekend and she was phenomenal. I had a bit of "separation anxiety" because this was the first time we've ever left Molly so I texted often and she always answered right away. She sent me several photo updates and Molly was in good spirits when we picked her up. She's slept all afternoon since we picked her up so she definitely got lots of playtime in with Mai this weekend! Would definitely recommend and use her again.

I am very familiar with dogs and cats. Working with Nick who was abused, I have learned to be gentle, loving and patient. I know when and how to approach a pet without fearing or annoying him/her.
With my service, you will receive daily updates with pictures of your pets. I usually take them for a long walk once in the morning and once in the evening, and I'll take he/she out for bathroom walks a few times during the day. Our favourite spots to go to include a nice dog park with a little stream running through, an off-leash dog park and around the nice, quiet neighbourhood. And I'll be more than happy to send you updates more than once a day if requested. I love spending time with dogs and cats so your pets will never feel lonely or stressed in the new environment. That way you can enjoy your vacation and have your pets well cared for.
