Hello, I'm Larissa, your next cat sitter!
I have three years of experience working in a cat shelter caring for and medicating cats so they could get healthy for adoption. I cared for senior cats, kittens, healthy cats, sick cats, friendly ones and even the angriest cats.
Everything I learned there I brought home to take care of my own cat, Lucy. I also had the sad experience of caring for two of my cats in their last days. When my beloved Hana got cancer I was there, by her side, medicating her several times a day and making sure she was fed every four hours. When my gorgeous Neko got kidney disease, I was home early from work every day to get her IV fluids under her skin.
These losses taught me just how precious these little creatures are and how blessed we are for being able to enjoy their company.
Services I offer:
- Cat Sitting:
Detailed Report: Every visit comes with a little report on how you pet is doing and a little video.
Bonding with your cat: A initial visit is made to get to know you and your cat(s) and their habits
Food and water: I make sure your cat(s) has plenty to eat and drink*
Litter box cleaning: I make sure your pet has a clean place for number 1 and 2*
Playtime: I will spend a good amount of the visit playing with your cat, as they need to be stimulated
Medication: I can give oral and injected medications to your cat, as indicated**
My visits last at least 30 minutes and I'm available 7 days a week, from 9 am to 8 pm.
I'm patient and kind and I know what your cat needs. I am great at bonding with friendly cats and respecting the boundaries of the not-so-sociable ones. I can visit to provide food, water, a clean litter box and lots of playtime for your cat, and I will treat your cats as the precious little being they are for you. I'm located near Davisville Station.
* Food, water and littler needs to be provided by the pet's owner
** In extreme cases of very aggressive cats, medication can be impossible to provide. I will let you know, at the initial visit, if there are any concerns in that regard. Most cats can be easily medicated, but it's important to know that there are exceptions.
Larissa is totally awesome! She was very careful to learn every detail about my cat (Basil) as well as his feeding habits, play time, etc. that I felt sure that I could trust her with my precious baby. She was prompt with community during the entire time and she sent me reassuring messages and videos daily to see the status of my cat. I will definitely book with her again! Highly recommend.
Larissa was very professional, conscientious and attentive. She clearly loves animals. Our kittens had a great weekend without us, as we could see from the many videos Larissa shared. We would not hesitate to use her again.
