Hi to all the caring and loving pet owners out there,

About me:

My name is Brianna and since I was a little girl I always wanted to be surrounded by animals and take care of them, I always knew I wanted to work with these loving souls but didn’t know how or where I would start and that is why I have decided that I can help out people who are just like me and love their pets just like their own children and who are looking for a caring, loyal and active pet sitter. I would love to one-day work full time with animals and have started this process by slowly getting ready and getting my Pet first aid Certificate in order to make sure I am ready to fully commit and take care of your pets as they are my own.

Availibilities:

I am a full-time worker from 8-4 during the week

but all the rest of my time is spent with my loving dog Odin. During the week I will be at work and will not be at home to supervise any dogs, but after work, I can always help during the morning or at night during the week if needed. As for the weekend, I will be at home all day with your pet as I like to fully be able to provide all the care, affection and supervision that your pet needs when staying with me. I live in a great little area with a few parks and love to meet new dogs and owners. I am someone that will make sure all your pet's needs are met especially by giving them extra love and care to make them feel right at home.

I know how important it is to learn each pet’s personality and style and I will make sure adapt to exactly what your pet needs Information about the apartment for home boarding: I live in a one-bedroom apartment with a neighbour living downstairs and upstairs which are pretty quiet and makes my home a nice and relaxing place for your pup if needed. I am equipped with an extra-large dog crate, lots of different toys and treats if needed for your pup to feel at home. It is at the end of a street in a quieter area in vainer. I also do have a partially finished yard with a small opening that leads to the driveway which is often blocked by cars either way but I do have extra long leashes for playtime in the yard. My apartment is on the main level with a private entrance (only a few steps to enter and exit the apartment and a second entrance if needed, this makes it perfect for elderly dogs or the smaller dogs who aren't used to stairs) Inside my home, I do allow pets on furniture if that is what the pet is used to if not, I will enforce your own rules just like they would be at home. What can I offer:

When staying with us for home boarding or day care (weekend only) I am equipped with lots of water and food bowls of all different sizes, plenty of treats, grooming supplies, A lot extra poop bags, multiple leashes or collars if ever needed and two different pet first aid kit (certified). An extra-large dog crate but can add divider. I also have two baskets full of toys that my dog loves to share, but you can bring anything that will make your dog comfortable!

Home visits:

While doing my visits I like to have a quick look around if permitted to make sure there are no accidents while you are away or anything urgent that needs to report to the owner. As I believe when you do a drop-in visit it is extremely important to go above and beyond not only for the pet but for the owner as well. Little extra things I like to do for example are water the plants, bring the mail in, if needed take out to the litter box or old garbage that was forgotten. Anything to make the owner more relaxed and at ease when they are leaving and coming back. I can stay as long as needed for any home visits. If your pet likes to have company l can stay a couple hours or if they prefer to be alone I can stay 30-45 minutes all depending on your pets needs.

Outings and things we do while you stay with us:

(I will not be taking any pets before asking their owners how they behave in cars and if we have permission to bring them) Conroy pit Gatineau trails for hiking Dog parks around Ottawa Medium fenced-in area near my house with a pool that can be used by dogs during the summer or just to run during colder days Backyard playtime (Mostly fence with one opening, but I do have long outside leashes if your dog needs to be tied) Lemieux island during the summer for swimming Hourly walks during your stay (Depending on each dog) A lot of playtime and interactions between dogs and myself And of course, a lot of cuddles if accepted

Keep in mind the activities such as walks

will depend on each dog and owner. I can provide short, medium and longs walks and as many times as your dog requires them. I know how potty training is important for puppies and

have no problem bringing them outside as often as they require

Information on my own pup:

I have a 15-month-old Bernedoodle of my own and he has changed my life for the better, he is extremely friendly and he is very docile with small dogs so you wouldn't have to worry about that if you would like your small pet to stay with us, Extra pet care: I have also had two bunnies who I cared and loved so deeply for. If needed I can help with your small fur babies as well. Unfortunately, I am allergic to hay and would not be able to stay overnight but would not be a problem for a few hours. In order to give them, lots of love and yummy veggie treats
