My name is Leticia, I'm a 23yo undergrad student from brazil, I came to Canada for a academic internship opportunity, and I needed to leave my dog (Gaia, a 4 yo Schipperke) in my mom's place back in Brazil, so I know how it is to be far from that fur love.

I was raised around dogs. In my childhood I had a german shepherd called Rolly, she lived her best life until she was 14yo, then, a couple years later, I got myself my "little bat", Gaia. Gaia is my "partner in crime" for everything, and I confess, sometimes I spoil her with too many toys hahaha.

I'm the person who sees a dog in the streets and starts sending kisses to it, that's just how I am. 

I've experience all the good things a dog can do to people emotionally, and I believe a life without a dog wouldn't make sense to me, that's why one of my requirements to get a place to stay in Canada while my exchange period was having a pet in the house, that's when I met Rudy, a rescued dog who's super sweet.

But I feel like I still have a lot of love to share with other fur friends.
