Hi! I'm Jasmine, a freelance developer. I work at home, which means I have a lot of time to spend with dogs and cats, and they'll almost never be left alone.
We live in a house with a fenced backyard within a quiet neighbourhood. Dogs can freely go play (and potty) in the backyard if they wish, and we take the dogs on a long walk around the Millenium Trail (Cove Links area) once a day. Our walks are usually around an hour, but do let us know if your dog prefers a shorter walk.
In the morning we also do a shorter 15-minute walk.
My parents and husband live together at home, and we are all pet lovers. My dad especially - we're always trying to get him to exercise more, and he almost never moves... unless there is a dog over! My mom always says "we need get a dog to walk your dad".
Inside the house, pets usually stay around the kitchen/living room (see our gallery for photos). We have extra dog/cat beds available as well. We are okay with pets in our room as well, but sometimes it depends (we'll kick them out if it affects our quality of sleep too much!).
We only take dogs and cats from one single family at a time to prevent potential conflict, and no more than 3 at a time.
My cat care experience comes from my own cat (Charcoal), now 5 years old. My dog care experience comes from taking care of my sister's 2 dogs every time they're over. We've done everything the average pet owner does - daily feeds, potty walks/litter box cleaning, administering medication via pill pockets, upkeeping general hygeine (including showers). However, do note that I am not a vet or a professional, and our pets have never had any major issues (touch wood!), so I don't have any experience in special care.
I treat all furry guests as if they were my own pet. I always think about how long I'm leaving the house for, and whether or not I should bring them along if I'm gone for too long. And it's rude to ignore your guests, so after working for a while I'll make room for belly rub time :)

I can tell that my dog had a happy time with Jasmine. She accepted and treated my dog as family. I will continue to ask her for help in the future. Highly recommend!
