Hi there!
I'm Rachel, a recent transplant to Canada and long-time lover of animals. I grew up with a house full of cats and a reputation of offering to walk my neighbors’ dogs in order to get my puppy fix. I have been dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, gecko, and more sitting since I was about 8 years old. I currently have one cat of my own, Maple a very friendly rescue cat who is unbothered by non-aggressive dogs. I am also dog-aunt to 3 amazing floofs who I get to love on regularly and foster cats and dogs when time allows.
Since I work from home, I have all day flexibility when it comes to meeting your pet’s needs. I live centrally located and have a car, as well as access to the new LRT, so if your pet needs mid-day care that is not a problem. I will require a meet-and-greet for all animals I care for (big and small). I like to know about you and your pet's routine/schedule, likes/dislikes, special care needs, behavioural issues, and anything else you think is important to maintaining the happiness of your pet.
If receiving home visits and walking, rest assured that I in addition to a 20-30 minute walk, I will be able to spend ample time visiting and socializing with them on a schedule that works best for them. I am also happy to deal with any small home or pet related chores while you are gone (litter cleaning, brushing, mail, plants, etc).
If being boarded, your pet will be walked 2-4 times a day (whatever you prefer) and never be alone so you can rest assured your fluffy friend receives all the love and attention it wants. I live in a private/residential neighbourhood, in a 3 story townhouse with plenty of space and access to great walking paths/parks and plenty of residental streets for safe walks.

services, feel free to message me if your needs are not covered by the pre-set options – I am happy to care for cats and other smaller animals.
* As I do have a cat of my own, I will only consider boarding dogs who have experience with cats and are non-confrontational towards small felines. *
