I have 5+ years experience with animals. Pet sitting and dog walking has been my side hustle ever since I was 12. My attention to detail and compassion for animals allowed me to be the designated pet sitter for my neighborhood. I've watched dogs, cats, chickens, roosters, ducks, rodents, lizards, and fish. I also worked in pet retail, and bathed dogs part-time throughout high-school at a groom shop. I'm an energetic quick learner that can take on many responsibilities.
I am happy to do any sort of chores that you may need done while you are gone: cleaning, watering plants, getting the mail, taking out the garbage, or anything else you may need!
I recently moved to Toronto for school, and am looking to make some money for tuition. Pet care is the best way to do this while also prioritizing my studies. I've had guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, cats, and dogs, and I have been missing the companionship recently. Even though I can't have a pet of my own, I see that as no excuse to not have furry creatures in my life anymore!
I am a full time student that has online and in person 3 hour lectures with lots of time for my textbook readings and assignments while I pet sit.
I live on the two line and can go anywhere that is TTC accessible. I'm looking to build strong relationships with my clients that foster reliability and trust. Tiana was a top shelf cat sitter. She stayed for a week and my cat was relaxed and happy when I got home, so I knew she was well-cared for. Tiana was an excellent communicator before and during my trip. She sent photos and let me know how my cat was doing and was responsive if I had question. Tiana also left the house just as clean as when she arrived. I would definitely recommend her and will be reaching out again for my next trip.
Tiana is so great. She stayed at my home watching my 2 cats for 10 days (overnights) while I was on vacation. She did a great job taking care of the cats, one of which has special food requirements and a second cat we adopted with PTSD issues. She handled both issues easily. You can tell she loves animals and even got the cat that's scared of everyone to sit with her and eat out of her hand. I got video and text updates while traveling (thank you) and she left the place spotless. Tiana feels like a new honorary member of our family (!) and it's comforting to know there's someone you can trust completely to care of your home and animals. I would definitely recommend her - I can't imagine a better pet-sitting experience and I'd be happy to provide her with a reference if needed.
