In my search for an engaging and rewarding side-gig to support myself through engineering school, I decided to draw on one of my biggest lifelong passions - cats!
I have owned and cared for cats for my entire life, having owned 3 throughout my childhood. In highschool, I volunteered for my local cat shelter (Pets Friends for Life in St. Thomas) and worked in the Kitten Room (best job ever by the way) providing general care and playtime. In my spare time I was also an active member of the Port Stanley District Leo Club, and served our community through charity dog washes and a fundraising Dog Bowl event where we raised over $4500 for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides - not bad for a group of high school students!
As a full time civil engineering student at McMaster University, I have had to leave my community, family, and pets behind but have since taken up fostering with Hamilton's Pantry Four Paws, and have had three of my foster cats sucessfully adopted since!
I strongly believe that no animal should ever go neglected, and see pet sitting services as a fantastic solution for those who lead busy lives or love to travel without sacrificing the opportunity for the lifelong companionship of a pet. I would love to be the one to provide that essential care to your pet and form connections with them and you along the way!
