About Merina
I am an experienced animal shelter worker who loves dogs! Big dogs, small dogs, rescues, and purebreds. I have experience with them all. I have coordinated a non-profit obedience program for rescue dogs for the last 8 years and I have had my own big dogs of mixed breeds and fostered many other dogs from the shelter. My shelter work is done on a volunteer basis as I work full-time in Human Resources for a tech company. I dedicate my free time to the animal shelter as I am passionate about animal welfare and love the four-legged fur babies.
I have knowledge of obedience training techniques that are based on positive reinforcement and allowing the dog to express their normal and natural behavior. I would love to take care of your fur baby while you are away.
I am a Canadian from White Rock who lives in the Cayman Islands. I am seeking pet sitting opportunities while I work remotely in the lower mainland when I visit my dad (who lives in White Rock) and other friends and family.
