Hello! My name is Sarah and I have two years of experience walking dogs professionally for a company called Hounds Around Town in west end Toronto in 2017 and 2018. I gave up a provincial government job to follow my heart and do something completely different, and that led me to dog walking. During this time my husband and several friends commented that they had never seen me happier (and it was true!). Getting paid to play with, walk and take care of dogs almost felt too good to be true. I delighted in walking a variety of breeds and sizes, had many repeat clients (some daily, some weekly), did puppy visits, and boarded a dog in my home. In addition, I completed a Pet First Aid course from St. John Ambulance in 2017. 

In terms of personal pets, growing up my family had many hamsters and gerbils but it was our feisty Jack Russell terrier named Milo who left an imprint on my heart. Years later we adopted a sweet tabby cat named Charlotte. 

After completing graduate studies, having two kids and buying a home in Kitchener-Waterloo, I am ready to jump back into the dog walking world. I understand the responsibility of being entrusted to enter your home and take care of your family pet, a responsibility I don't take lightly. I have the integrity, conscientiousness and work ethic to successfully provide this service with care and diliegence for your pet and peace of mind for you. Availability: most weekday mornings, early afternoon

Services: 

30-minute, private, on-leash dog walk

20-minute home visit for backyard relief break, food and water refresh, and play time (as per your instructions)
