My name is Nerissa and I look forward to getting to know your best friend. I understand how deeply cherished a pup can be. They are family and I welcome yours into mine :) During our time together, I will keep you updated with many photos and videos of your pup, and am available to contact 24/7.

I have many years of experience with dogs. From owning, sitting, fostering, volunteering, and now working with dogs, I have gained an immense understanding of dog behavior. I have opened my home to pups of all ages (5 weeks-17 years old), and to pups of all different sizes & breeds (toy yorkie - great dane). All the pups I’ve encountered have been a complete joy to be around!

I have fostered with Grateful Friends Animal Rescue and volunteerd at the humane society. I am currently on Rover (one year) and have 5+ years of boarding privately, as well as decades of sitting for friends and family. 

My schedule is extremely flexible as I am available mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnights. Let’s make it work what is best for you!

During boarding your pet will never be alone more than two hours. They will get freedom in my fenced backyard to sniff and play and sunbathe on the deck. We will go for walks, time allocated to their needs. I have gates to separate areas in my home when quiet time is needed. Pets will sleep where they are most comfortable.

I will host up to 2 dogs during a boarding period, and will inform guests when I have double occupancy to ensure it is a good fit. Safety is my first priority. My neighbors have three friendly dogs and a big fenced yard where we can go and play if your pup enjoys the company of others. We like to call it our 'mini dog park'.

My home is your home. I will follow what’s expected at your home into mine. I have a fenced backyard, small kennel, toys, treats, leashes, harnesses, dishes and doggy beds available to use. Your pup will have as much freedom, snuggles, and play as they are comfortable with. This is their staycation and I will ensure they have the best time!
