Jill

Hi! My name is Jill, and I have been working full-time in the pet services industry for over two years.  I have earned my Professional Pet Dog Training Certification from the Good Dog Academy, and am trained in Canine First Aid. 

I offer the following services: structured training walks, group walks, pet sitting, drop-in visits, dog boarding, and board and train packages in my home.  My goal is to help your pet maintain structure and routine while you're away and to give them a home away from home.  I treat your pets with as much love and care as I do my own menagerie.

Prior to opening my own pet services business, I had a fifteen-year career in social services. Although this was an extremely rewarding career, I recently made the decision to leave that line of work and start a career working with animals, which is something that I have been passionate about for as long as I can remember. 

I reside in a detached home in the North end of Hamilton with my partner, two kids, two dogs, and three cats. We have a large, fully fenced backyard. Dogs have access to the main floor of the home during the day, and can sleep either with one of us or in a crate at night. We do not allow dogs to roam the house at night as this is when my cats tend to come out.  

We are unable to board unneutered males over the age of 1 year, nor can we board females in heat. We only board dogs from one household at a time, unless the dogs have already met and get along.
