With many years of cat care experience, I have gained insight into the world of these beautiful animals. I believe that they benefit in many ways from human contact at least once per day while their people are away. A cat sitter visit to your home will help ease any potential stress your kitty might experience as well as ensure access to plenty of food, treats, clean water and a hygienic litter area. I want to provide this love and care for your kitty. My goal will always be to keep your cat happy and healthy while you are away so you can travel with peace of mind.

In addition to making sure all your kitty's needs are met, I will always:

• show up and be present with your cat, intuitively providing them what they want (ie. cuddles, playtime, chatting), making them my priority;

• treat your cat as my own, giving them lots of love and quality care; and

• be fully transparent and communicative, sending you pictures and updates after every visit and responding to your messages in a timely manner.

About my services...

I am offering my services as a cat sitter for one or two at home visits per day, for at least 30 minutes in duration for each visit (depending on the cat's needs). I will take bookings for single or multiple kitty dwellings.

As mentioned above, you can expect the following from my visits:

• feeding, treats and watering;

• pets, cuddles, and playtime;

• litter box and area clean up; and

• an update (aka report card) from me after each visit, so you can rest assured that your kitty is being cared for and your home is secure.

I also provide additional services, as requested and agreed upon, such as plant watering, fish feeding, mail pickup, blind rotation, light cycling and garbage/recycling disposal. I always endeavour to tailor my services to meet you and your kitty's specific needs.

My availability for bookings is (subject to my schedule) 7 days a week during mornings, afternoons or evenings.

My service area includes the following areas (subject to distance from my home): Cook Street Village, Fairfield, James Bay, Rockland, Harris Green and Downtown Victoria. I am flexible to cat sit outside of my service area however there may be an extra travel fee required, which I would calculate on a per client basis taking into consideration distance and any expenses I would incur. A little bit about me...

An animal lover at heart, I have had the good fortune of growing up with a variety of furry creatures. I'm happy to say that I can't remember a time when I didn't have an animal in my life! So I understand the deep bond people form with their animal companions. I have a special fondness for cats and really enjoy spending time with them.

Currently, I have one feline companion. I rescued him at the age of 6 months and he quickly captured my heart. I am happy to say he is now a healthy 10 year old! Because I have had to leave my little guy with other people many times over the years, I know how important it is to feel confident that they are in capable hands, so you know you will come home to a well-cared for kitty. I have had many years of cat care experience including caring for my own and my friends' cat companions, as well as my wonderful kitty clients here on Pawshake.

I am passionate about caring for and connecting with cats, which is why Pawshake has been so great for me. It has given me the opportunity to connect with many people and their cat companions all over Victoria! Nothing quite brings me joy like winning the trust and affection of a kitty. I have worked with many different cats so I know they each have their own unique personality, which is why I always endeavour to be highly intuitive and adaptable with them. I always treat each kitty as the individual that they are and with the respect that they deserve.

In addition to being a cat person, I am also a people person! So it also brings me satisfaction to help alleviate any stress my client might be experiencing by assuring them I will be there for them and their kitty. It really warms my heart to send my client adorable pictures along with updates on their kitty after each visit. I really enjoy animal photography, so I always try to capture precious moments (depending on how camera shy the kitty may be) so my client can feel like they aren't missing out. Overall, I want my client to feel like they have someone they can trust who will be there when they need - and someone that their cat loves too, so they can better enjoy their time away!
