Hello!

I am a part-time pet sitter and dog walker in the Quebec City region. I say part-time because I enjoy spending time with animals outside of my regular job, and Pawshake has provided the wonderful opportunity for me to care for your pets and to make new friends in the community. I do this because I love to spend time engaging and interacting with all kinds of animals, and enjoy spending time outside as well as cozied indoors. I have experience with both young and old cats and dogs, rabbits, fowl and small reptiles. I've worked on farms, stables and also have experience pet sitting for extended overnight stays in homes. I know both French and English commands, because I am bilingual.

Detail-oriented, efficient, clean, respectful, reliable, great communication, capable of multi-tasking and quick to troubleshoot. This means that when I am hired for a pet sit, check-in or dog walk, I make sure to have all of the information needed to provide the best care for both your pet, and to ensure that your home remains as if it hadn't been visited. It also means that I stay in communication with you, whether that is regarding details of the stay and job, your pet's health and needs, or knowing when to touch base and to visit in a timely manner. I don't bog myself down with pet sitting and dog walking jobs, because I make sure to have the space, time and full attention for your pet, so that we all have an enjoyable experience. Plus, I get to make a new furry friend!

Some details:

Walks are up to 30 minutes local to your home. Longer walks are happily available at additional cost. Evenings and weekend availability.

Home visits: Tidying any messes that may have been made by the pet (or myself, eg. dishes, dirt), and grooming. Ensuring food, water and any medications are given. Walks and outdoor supervision. Playing and interaction, use of basic commands. In the case of cats or other animals, cleaning the litter box or cage as needed. Weekend availability.

With each job, I will ensure that I have thoroughly taken all available information, requirements, behavioural and medical notes, expectations and other necessary information (Eg. vet contact info, emergency contact info, means of contact, etc).
