My motivation for being a dog walker and cat sitter is to meet more dogs and cats and the people that love them. My family has always had cats and dogs. My family dogs have ranged from small indoor dogs to larger outdoor dogs. I always spend half my visit home outside playing with the big dog (Jovie a Great Pyrenees and Bernese Mountain mix). Then when I am inside I am on the floor playing with our small dog (Sammy a shitz zu).
When I am traveling I always find and visit all the cat cafes and dog parks, To get purr therapy and watch dogs playing in real life, when the Internet is not enough. Without a local cat cafe or any dog parks around where I live, I need more animals in my life.
I tend to surround myself with people who have fur babies, and jump at the chance to walk or hang out with them as much as I can. I have experience dog sitting a very large depressed rottweiler, and his small vivacious Chihuahua sister. I have also had the honor of being one human in a pack of humans kept by a small Puggle named Branston Pickle.
I have also volunteered at a cat sanctuary that was home to 400+ cats of all ages and dispositions, which has made me very fluent in cat language. Last but not least I have been careing for my 23 year old fur baby Puff for the pass 15 years. She is my master:)
