I’ve always been asked to housesit and pet sit since I was young. Growing up on a farm gave me daily connection to the land and all the animals. I have lived in Canada for five years in Montreal, North Vancouver, and the Okanagan Valley. I was a teacher and a householder in a therapeutic community for adults with special needs. My work as a teacher and social worker has kept me active in the community. I am dedicated to the well-being of all under my care, including your pets!

Availability: 9am-6pm for dog walking. 24 hours or more for Housesits

About my services:

I can administer medication to pets, and offer training and/or grooming. 

 Home visits: I can stay with the pets 1 hour per visit and make sure to give them love, exersise or feed them as requested. This is not a housesit, so I will be focused 100% on your pet. If there is a mess made by the pet, I will help clean it up however, I am not able to fit in other tasks like mail, plants, other cleaning etc. 

Dog walking: I walk around 5km which usually takes me 1 hour. I carry a smart watch so I can monitor the distance. I love the rail trail in the Okanagan and tend to quieter dog parks. I also enjoy hiking trails that are close to town. if you have an older dog or a puppy I can adapt my routine to suit their needs.

House sitting: we can talk about different options. I am always vigilent when it comes to security and I will make sure to put back the keys where I found them and try and make the transition days as seamless as possible for your pets. On the transition day, I will leave at 10am after a good walk with your dog, unless otherwise negociated.
