I am a mature small animal veterinarian that is living in France until the end of 2024, then moving back to Vancouver for 2025. I have lived in Vancouver/Richmond for 28 years before moving to France in 2023. I currently have no house pets and my only pet is my horse, Bindi. Thus, pet and house sitting would be a great way to help people and get my living with pets! I will be working 2-3 days a week once back in Vancouver at the vet clinic that I have been at for the past 20 years. This is why I have selected cats as the pet I would like to care for. If you have a dog, we can talk about possible scenarios for me to care for them as well.

It goes without saying that I love animals. I love being a veterinarian and could not imagine doing anything else, except pet sitting. Based on my career, clearly I will be able to rapidly notice if your fur-baby is not well or injured and first aid is second nature to me. I can give injections, medicate and treat your pet as you wish.

I am ultra clean and tidy. Trust me, your home will look like I was never there when you return home. I am a non-smoker, I basically don’t drink (unless out with friends) and am vegetarian.

I love taking care of plants and pride myself on how my houseplants thrive. So your plants will be well cared for as well.

Your fur-baby will get lots of love and attention from me. I adore a snuggly cat and dog. But if your baby is more of a leave-me-be kinda creature, I would completely respect that too. In addition, I fully understand how important following a routine and diet is for your pet. Your pet is ultra-important to you, and I fully appreciate that. They will be ultra-important to me as well!!!

While this is my first time using a service like this, I have house- and pet-sat for many people over the years. I am happy to do a few days at a time but would prefer longer stays.

I love dogs and cats and I love helping people. I know you will feel comfortable and at ease with me caring for your loved one(s). I am exceptionally responsible and reliable. As I don't have any pets right now, I thought this would be a great opportunity to help others and get my pet-fix.
